ANNOUNCEMENT
Introducing my new venture: ‘Libration’.
For a long time, I have been studying the gaps in our education system. While the list is long, I decided to pick the reason that appeared in top 5 – ‘Decline in the habit of reading’.
Social media and gadgets help to learn, but they have also been a cause of distraction for a majority of students. I have therefore decided to adopt school libraries and transform them into fun and happening places. I will be working closely with publishers, literary agents, authors, illustrators, and bookworms to bring better books to schools, and spark a revolution which can change the way students interact with literature.
This year, we are starting our pilot program with eight schools. Next year, I will reach out to more schools to help more and more students reap the benefits of my network.
While my existing venture ‘Heritageshaala’ will stay active, I will try to spend more time with books and libraries now.
