Green Fields School Satyamev Jayate The Safdurjung Enclave Education Society established Green Fields School and its foundation stone was laid by Sri,Sri,Sri Sankaracharya in 1967.

Over the years the school has established its reputation as one of the best educational institutions in South Delhi with a distinct identity of its own for imparting quality education. The school was fortunate to have the foresight and leadership of Mr.R.C Khanna, as the chairman of the school in its early days and the Founder Principal and the director Mrs. Padma Khanna has steered the course of

this institution in the last 43 odd years with dexterity and courage. The school is affiliated to CBSE and imparts education to over 2500 students from Ist and XII std. A range of extra curricular activities-athletics, music, literary pursuits, elocution and debates, theatre and career guidance complements and curricular training imparted in school. The school has kept itself abreast with technological advances in imparting of its curricular instruction and has excellent library, laboratory and computer facilities available to the students .The school exposes its students to all opportunities and resources that the best of the school in Delhi could boast about.At the same time GFS has been a caring institution and has ensured that no prejudices will come in the way of budding talents. Green Fields Nursery School celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm, joy, and patriotic spirit, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with pride, happiness, and the spirit of freedom. The celebration was a beautiful reflection of our love for our nation and the values of unity, respect, and togetherness.

The programme commenced with a series of colourful and meaningful performances by our young learners, who participated with immense excitement and confidence.

The little ones beautifully showcased their love for the nation through patriotic songs, dances, poems, and engaging performances. Their enthusiasm and innocent expressions brought immense joy to everyone present and made the celebration truly memorable. Every performance reflected the spirit of freedom, unity, patriotism, and pride in our country.

The entire school came together to celebrate the essence of Independence Day, reminding our children that freedom comes with responsibility, kindness, respect, and love for our nation. The celebration was not only entertaining but also an enriching learning experience for our young minds.

Adding another special moment to the occasion, we also celebrated Founder’s Day, honouring the vision, dedication, and valuable contribution of our Founder. The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the ideals and values upon which our institution was built.

The programme concluded on a joyful and successful note, leaving everyone with beautiful memories of togetherness, celebration, and pride. The vibrant participation of our children, the support of our teachers, and cooperation of Parents made the event truly special.

Bhel Puri Making Activity – Green Fields Nursery School

The Nursery children had a wonderful time preparing Bhel Puri during the Non-Fire Cooking activity. With great excitement, they mixed fresh ingredients to create a delicious and healthy snack without using fire. The activity encouraged them to explore different textures, flavours, and colours while enhancing their fine motor skills.

The children proudly prepared their own Bhel Puri, enjoyed sharing it with their friends, and relished every bite. This fun-filled activity fostered teamwork, creativity, independence, and healthy eating habits, making learning both enjoyable and meaningful.

“Creating Rain.” The children enjoyed learning how rain is formed through a simple and exciting experiment. They observed how water changes and falls like raindrops, making science easy to understand and enjoyable. STEM Activity: Red and White Make Pink

Today, the children enjoyed a fun and engaging STEM activity on colour mixing. They mixed red and white colours together and observed the changes carefully. The children were thrilled to see a beautiful pink colour appear as the two colours blended.

Through this hands-on activity, they learned that mixing two colours can create a new colour. It was an enjoyable learning experience that encouraged observation, curiosity, and exploration while making learning fun through play.

Our little learners celebrated Green Colour Day with great joy and excitement. The classroom was filled with green colour decoration, spreading happiness and positivity all around.
