Following are the rules and regulations for the quiz -
1.The competition is divided into two groups -
A. Junior Group - Class 6 to 8
B. Senior group - Class 9 to 12
2. Everyone is to participate as an individual for this quiz. They do not need to form teams to participate in this quiz.
3. Only students from Kamrup Metro, Kamrup Rural, Goalpara, Nagaon, Morigaon, Hojai, Mangaldai, Nalbari, Barpeta can take part.
4. The winner from each branch will qualify to take part in the state finals.
5. There is no registration fees for this quiz.
6. The medium of the Quiz will be English only.
7. Quizmaster's decision shall be final and binding.
8. All the participants must abide by the above rules and regulations and the organizer deserves the right to disqualify the teams at any moment.

TOPIC OF THE QUIZ - All questions of the Quiz will pertain to anything and everything related to India.

The Covid pandemic has affected all of us. But the brunt of this pandemic was worse for the underprivileged sections of the society.In the wake of this , many people and organisations have come forward to help the needy. The Quizzing societies of Delhi in Collaboration with Viraasat Knowledge LLP have decided to host a fundraising quiz fest in order to offer any help possible. The funds would be transferred to the *Sheroes Hangout (run by acid attack survivors)* who are distributing food to the needy.

Please participate in large numbers and also in 'Quiz for a Cause'.

"Viraasat Knowledge" is proud to announce its partnership with "D News - Fast and First" to conduct the Mega Quiz Mela.

D News "Mega Quiz Mela" starts on the 4th of Dec, 2020. The quiz is open to students upto class 12. (*Droppers are not allowed). Only individual participants are allowed. In the initial stages, there will be 10 episodes. To participate, one must check the "D News" page every alternate day starting on 4th of Dec at 6 pm sharp (https://m.facebook.com/dnewsfastandfirstassam/).

Top 6 winners from each episode (total 60 winners) will qualify for the preliminary round. Besides the aforementioned top 60 participants, 4 more participants will be selected based on an overall cumulative score across the 10 episodes but who failed to qualify among the top 60. Thus, in total, 64 participants will progress into the next round. After successive elimination rounds, a total of 16 participants will be ultimately selected for the 'Mega Finale' round.

The rules and procedures for the subsequent rounds will be notified gradually.
