The Department of Statistics at LSR has been extremely active to scale new heights.
Department of Statistics, LSR, excels in striking a balance between statistical concepts and their applications in the areas of Science, Economics, Education, Finance, Strategy-making etc. The effort has always been to reach out beyond mere classroom teaching to motivate the students to develop their skills as future Statisticians. Over the years the department has organised a string of lectures, workshops, field trips et all to encourage the students to explore new horizons.

The Department will be conducting the Confrontation for the New Union
- on the 27th of March, 2012
- in the Statistics Lab (Room No. 10)
- from 12.30 pm onwards (We hope to finish by 3.30pm!)
