அன்னார் *நேற்று 23.12.22 மாலை 5 மணி அளவில், சென்னை ICF இல் உள்ள அவருடைய மகன் இல்லத்தில் வைத்து கர்த்தருக்குள் நித்திரை அடைந்தார்கள்*. அன்னாருக்கு வயது 90. அடக்கம் சென்னையில் இன்று 24.12.22 மாலை 4 மணி அளவில்.

*அன்னாரை இழந்து தவிக்கும் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு தேவன் தாமே ஆறுதலையும் சமாதானத்தையும் கட்டளையிடுவாராக*.

An exciting football match final was held at ‘Tharuvai’ Stadium, Thoothukudi yesterday between Margoschis Hr. Sec. School, Nazareth and BMC Hr. Sec. School, Tuticorin organised by spirited youth football club, Tuticorin . Margoschis hr. sec. school made a 2-1 victory in the match.

The match was started just at 4.30 p.m. Before that the referee and the players entered the field in time. There were attacks and counter attacks every moment. Both the team made several movements and scoring chances. But the first half came to a close with a goal from Praveen (MHSS). At the beginning of the second half, both the team grew furious. They attacked each other and tried to net the ball. There was wild excitement on both sides as the result BMC has equalized to 1-1. But, perhaps, it was the day of Margoschis (MHSS). Because they had the chance of the day to score a goal again. The right winger of Margoschis hr sec school (Evans) got a chance and was able to score a winner.

In the rest of the match, there were no more goals. So, Margoschis (MHSS) won the match by 2-1. Evans Jonathan won the best player of the tournament.

Mrs. Geetha Jeevan ,Minister of social welfare and women empowerment gave away the trophies and awards to winners . Mr. Jegan , Mayor - Thoothukudi Corporation and Dr. A.D.K Jayaseelan Ex MP were participated in the award ceremony.
