The Comparative Review (interdisciplinary research journal) and first international conference proposed to be held in December 2016. Our vision is to preserve indigenous knowledge and culture and harbour social, economic and political sustainability and encourage agronomics. Our mission is to establish the institute to meet real sustainable challenges through agronomics and indigenous knowledge. Five year interdisciplinary and integrated postgraduate programes have been designed where agriculture, economics and environment science would be some compulsory areas of study. The objective of the institute is to revive traditional knowledge and harbinger future research leaders in the indigenous knowledge studies. Further scope of the five year programes would lead to research studies. The institute has promoted international research projects. Village Museum, traditional media and a free library would be additional tasks. The IESE has national and international collaboration under the patronage of the IACLSC (International Association of Comparative Literature, Society and Culture trust).
