A guest lecture on “Bioinformatics” was successfully organized by the Department of Microbiology, B. P. Baria Science Institute, Navsari, on 3rd January 2026. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Murtaza Hajoori, a distinguished academician from Bhagwan Mahavir University. The session aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Bioinformatics and its growing importance in modern biological sciences, especially in microbiology, genomics, and biotechnology. Dr. Hajoori explained key concepts such as biological databases, sequence alignment, and applications of Bioinformatics tools in research and diagnostics. He also highlighted career opportunities and future prospects in the field, which motivated and inspired the students. The lecture was interactive, with students engaging enthusiastically during the question-and-answer session.

A Microbiology Doodle Making Competition was organized by Microbiology department of B. P. Baria science Instituted, Navsari for students, conducted in teams of three. The activity aimed to promote creativity while enhancing understanding of microbiological concepts. Students expressed scientific ideas through innovative doodles related to microbiology. The competition witnessed active participation and encouraged teamwork, creativity, and scientific thinking among the students.

15 days a Crash Course was organized for T. Y. B. Sc Sem-V by department of biotechnology Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat from 15th to 29th December 2025. The purpose of our college, to allow students to attend this Crash Course to crack various entrance competitive exam at national level and state level, for research as well as further studies in future in various field like PG in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Immunology, etc.

An awareness campaign on Cervical Cancer was organized for the female students of B. P. Baria Science Institute, Navsari on 15th January 2026. The programme was conducted by the faculty and students of S. S. Agrawal College of Nursing in the Seminar Hall of the Department of Microbiology.
The objective of the campaign was to create awareness among young female students about cervical cancer, its causes, risk factors, early symptoms, preventive measures, and the importance of regular screening. The resource persons explained the role of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) in the development of cervical cancer and emphasized the significance of HPV vaccination and Pap smear tests for early detection.

A 3D Microbial Structure Model Competition was organized for F.Y.B.Sc Sem- II Microbiology students on 17th December 2025. The competition was conducted in teams of five students to encourage creativity, teamwork, and conceptual understanding of microbial structures. Students presented innovative and scientifically accurate models, which were evaluated by the faculty members.

Under Microbiology society of B. P. Baria Science Institute, Navsari, an innovative and skill-based activity titled "Microbial Munchies" was organized for the students of T.Y. B.Sc. Microbiology. Objective of the Activity is to understand the role of beneficial microorganisms in improving digestion, nutrient absorption, and gut health. The products were prepared using safe and beneficial microorganisms, ensuring hygienic conditions and standard fermentation practices.

નવસારી બી. પી. બારીયા સાયન્સ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ ખાતે નેશનલ ટાસ્ક ફોર્સ અંતર્ગત હાઉ ટૂ ગ્રો યોર મેન્ટલ હેલ્થ વિષય પર નવસારીના જાણીતા નાટ્યકાર, શિક્ષક અને મોટીવેશનલ સ્પીકર પિયુષભાઈ ભટ્ટનું વ્યાખ્યાન રાખવામાં આવ્યું હતું. તેમણે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને મુંઝવતા યાદશક્તિના, ડિપ્રેશનના તેમજ નેગેટિવ વિચારોના પ્રશ્નોનું રસપ્રદ ઉદાહરણો અને મુદ્દાઓ દ્વારા નિરાકરણ આપ્યું હતું. તેમણે નાનકડી રોજીંદી કસરતો દ્વારા માનસિક શક્તિ વધારવાની પધ્ધતિઓ પણ દર્શાવી હતી. વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ પૂછેલા પ્રશ્નોનું હળવી શૈલીમાં નિરાકરણ કરી પિયુષભાઇએ વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ટેન્શન મુક્ત કરવાનો સફળ પ્રયત્ન કર્યો હતો. આચાર્યા ડૉ. ફરિદાબેન મીનોચેહેરહોમજી એ સ્વાગત પ્રવચનમાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓને NTF ની કામગીરી થી માહિતગાર કર્યા હતા. ડૉ. સ્વાતિ નાયક અને પ્રા. એકતા દેસાઇએ સમગ્ર કાર્યક્રમનું સંચાલન તથા આભાર વિધિ કરી હતી.

બી.પી.બારીયા સાયન્સ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ ની ખાસ વાર્ષિક શિબિર : 2025- 2026 ચતુર્થ દિવસ
તારીખ 8/ 01 /2026 ના રોજ માસા ગામ (અમલસાડ , નવસારી) ખાતે મહાકાળી મંદિર સાસ્કૃતિક ભવનમાં માં બી.પી.બારીયા સાયન્સ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ ની ખાસ વાર્ષિક શિબિર.
• સર્વે સ્વયં સેવકોએ મહાકાળી માતાજીના મંદિરે આરતી કરી અને અમે ચોથા દિવસની શરૂઆત કરી
• રોજ ના નિત્ય ક્રમ પ્રમાણે શ્રમ કાર્ય માં મહાકાળી માતાના મંદિર પરિસરની સફાઈ કરવામાં આવેલ અને સમગ્ર પરિસરમાં જરૂરી કલર કામ કરવામાં આવ્યું અને બધાજ વૃક્ષોને ગેરુ અને ચુના થી રંગવામાં આવ્યાં.
• સ્વયં સેવકો ની બે ટુકડીઓ અને અમારી કોલેજ ના માઇક્રોબાયોલોજી વિભાગ ના સહયોગથી, મનરેગામાં કામ કરતા આશરે 37 શ્રમિકો અને પ્રાથમિક શાળાના 65 વિદ્યાર્થીઓના બ્લડ ગ્રુપ ચેક કરવામાં આવ્યા.
• માસા ગામના આગેવાન શ્રી પિયુષભાઈ પટેલે બપોરના બૌધિક સેશન માં જીવન મૂલ્યો” I આધારિત ઉપયોગી વક્તવ્ય આપ્યું.
• સાંજે 5.00 કલાકે બીજા મોટીવેશનલ સ્પીકર શ્રી ચિરાગભાઈ પરમાર હતા જેમને “I am Possible Never Give up Attitude” વિષય પર વક્તવ્ય આપ્યું હતું અને ફક્ત મોટીવેશન થી જીંદગી માં મોટી સિદ્ધિ ઓ પ્રાપ્ત થતી નથી સાથે શિસ્ત, ધીરજ, સુસંગતતા અને પ્રતિબદ્ધતા પણ એટલા જ જરૂરી છે, વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ને ભવિષ્ય માટે પ્રેરણા રૂપ પ્રવચન હતું.
• પૂરા દિવસ દિવસના વ્યસ્ત કાર્યક્રમો ના થાક પછી પણ સ્વયં સેવકો ની લાગણી ને વાચા આપતા રાત્રે ગરબાનું આયોજન પણ કર્યું હતું.

બી.પી.બારીયા સાયન્સ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ ની ખાસ વાર્ષિક શિબિર : 2025- 2026 તૃતીય દિવસ
તારીખ 7/ 01 /2026 ના રોજ માસા ગામ (અમલસાડ , નવસારી) ખાતે મહાકાળી મંદિર સાસ્કૃતિક ભવનમાં માં બી.પી.બારીયા સાયન્સ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ ની ખાસ વાર્ષિક શિબિર.
• ત્રીજા દિવસે વહેલી સવારે સર્વે સ્વયં સેવકો ગામમાં પ્રભાત ફેરી કરી એક આધ્યાત્મિક સ્ફૂર્ણા થી દિવસની શરૂઆત કરવામાં આવી.
• સવારના નિત્ય ક્રમ પ્રમાણે શ્રમ કાર્ય માં બાજુના માંસીયા વાસણ ગામ ની બે શાળાઓ તથા બે મંદિર પરિસરની સફાઈ કરવામાં આવેલ.
• માંસીયા વાસણ ગામ માં આવેલ મોડલ પ્રાથમિક શાળા ની મુલાકાત લીધી આ શાળાના મુખ્ય શિક્ષક અને ગામડે ગામ માં સરપંચ સ્તરે રાજકીય ઇચ્છા શક્તિ નો બેજોડ નમૂના રૂપ આ શાળા તાલુકા સ્તરે પ્રથમ અને જિલ્લા સ્તરે તૃતીય શાળા નો ખિતાબ જીત્યો છે ખરા અર્થ માં આધુનિક મોડલ શાળા જોવા ની તક મળી
• સ્વયં સેવકો ની બે ટુકડીઓ દ્વારા ગામમાં રૂબરૂ ઘરે ઘરે સંપર્ક કરી વ્યસન મુકિત અને બીજા લોક જાગૃતિ કાર્યક્રમ વિષે જાણ કરવામાં આવી
• મુસ્કારાહટ ગ્રુપ નવસારી જે વ્યસન મુકિત ઝુંબેશ ચલાવે છે, યઝદીભાઈ કોન્ટ્રાક્ટર અને તેમની ટીમ તમાકુ અને બીજા વ્યસનો દૂર કરવા વિના મૂલ્યે નિસ્વાર્થ સેવા આપે છે જેમના ગ્રુપ થકી વ્યસન મુકિત અંગે મનોરંજન કાર્યક્રમ સાથે સમજ આપવામાં આવી હતી જેમાં ગામના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને વડીલો બહોળી સંખ્યામાં હાજર રહ્યા હતા.

બી.પી.બારીયા સાયન્સ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ ની ખાસ વાર્ષિક શિબિર : 2025- 2026 દ્વિતીય દિવસ
• તારીખ 6/ 01 /2026 ના રોજ માસા ગામ (અમલસાડ , નવસારી) ખાતે મહાકાળી મંદિર સાસ્કૃતિક ભવનમાં માં બી.પી.બારીયા સાયન્સ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ ની ખાસ વાર્ષિક શિબિર ના બીજા દિવસે સર્વે સ્વયં સેવકો અને પ્રોગ્રામ ઓફિસરશ્રી ઓ સવારે 7.00 કલાકે યોગાસનો અને પ્રાણાયામ કરી દિવસ ની શરૂઆત કરી.
• 9.00 કલાકે સવારના શ્રમ કાર્ય માં પૂરા મંદિર પટાંગણ ની સાફ સફાઈ કરવામાં આવી.
• ત્યાર બાદ ગામ ના સહકારથી ટેમ્પા ની વ્યવસ્થા કરવામાં આવી હતી જેમાં અંધેશ્વર મહાદેવના દર્શને સર્વે સ્વયં સેવકો ગયા હતા.
• બપોરના 3.00 થી 5.00 ના બૌધિક કાર્યક્રમમાં અમારી કોલેજ ના ભૂતપૂર્વ વિધાર્થી શ્રી વિરેન્દ્રસિંહ ઠાકોરે સ્પર્ધાત્મક પરીક્ષાઓ જેવી કે GPSC તથા UPSC માં વર્ગ 1 થી 3 ની પોસ્ટ માં કેવી રીતે તૈયારી કરવી વગેરે ની વિસ્તૃત માહિતી આપી હતી.
• સાંજે સ્વયં સેવકો ની બે ટુકડીઓ ગામ માં રૂબરૂ ઘરે સંપર્ક કરી આવતી કાલ 7/01/26 ના રોજ વ્યસન મુકિત કાર્યક્રમ વિષે હાજર રહેવા ગામ ની મુલાકાત લીધી હતી

તારીખ 5/ 01 /2026 ના રોજ માસા ગામ (અમલસાડ , નવસારી) ખાતે મહાકાળી મંદિર સાસ્કૃતિક ભવનમાં માં બી.પી.બારીયા સાયન્સ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ ની ખાસ વાર્ષિક શિબિર ની શરૂઆત થઈ ઉદ્ઘાટન પ્રસંગે શ્રી પીયુષભાઈ દેસાઈ (માજી ધારાસભ્ય નવસારી) બી.પી. બારીયા સાયન્સ ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટના ઇન્ચાર્જ આચાર્યશ્રી ફરીદા મેડમ તેમજ મંદિર પરિસર ના પ્રમુખ ડૉ.અનિલભાઈ પટેલ, સરપંચ શ્રી તથા ગ્રામ પંચાયત અને તાલુકા પંચાયત ના હોદેદારો ની હાજરી માં ઉદ્ઘાટન સમારોહ યોજાયો F. Y. B. Sc. અને S. Y B. Sc. ના 72 વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ આ શિબિર માં હાજર રહ્યા છે. ઉદ્ઘાટક અને સમારોહ ના અઘ્યક્ષ શ્રી પીયુષભાઈ દેસાઈ એ N. S. S. ના મૂલ્યો સમજાવ્યા તથા આ શિબિર ના સફળતા માટે શુભકામના પાઠવી. ઇ. ચા. પ્રિન્સીપાલ ફરીદા મેડમે સ્વયં સેવકો ને પ્રસંગોચિત માહિતી આપી તથા ગામના સર્વ આગેવાનોએ શિબિર ના સફળતા માટે અને સંપૂર્ણ શિબિર દરમ્યાન સહકાર ની ખાતરી આપી.
સાંજે સૌ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ગામની મુલાકાત લીધી અને કરવા લાયક કામોની ચર્ચા કરી.
સમગ્ર શિબિર નુ સંચાલન કોલેજ પ્રોગ્રામ ઓફિસરશ્રી ઓ દ્વારા કરવામાં આવેલ તથા સિનિયર સ્વયં સેવકો પણ સહકાર ની નોંધ લેવી ઘટે.
