Dr Howard, Principal of DSB International School, also an accredited IGCSE and IBO school in South Mumbai spent his morning at the DYPIS campus interacting with our dynamic Vice President and Pro chancellor Honorable Shivani Vijay Patil Ma'am whose passion for best practices and learning motivates us to do more daily in school. Our Mentor, Mrs Fatema Agarkar instrumental in spearheading the collaboration between the two schools had the two Principals- Mrs Shan Liz Sanju our Principal at DYPIS and Dr Howard Gee ideate about how teachers and students could benefit from interactions and school visits.

Our visionary and inspirational President Dr Vijay Patil shared his passion for engineering, innovation and sustainability with a very special guest to the campus, Dr Howard Gee, Principal of DSB International School a fellow Cambridge and IB school in South Mumbai.

The intent with this visit was to think about ways the two international schools - DY and DSB could collaborate. From student and teacher interactions to inter school competitions, there is plenty to be gained when great minds come together and South connects with the North.

Our IBDP Year 1 and 2 students successfully organized a CAS fundraiser, showcasing teamwork, compassion, and leadership. With the funds raised, two air coolers were donated to the NGO Children of the World, bringing comfort to underprivileged children during the summer heat.
