The schools have reopened and our corridors are beaming again with laughter and tales!

Team Mimaansa was present to welcome our children at our Thane Municipal Corporation school at Dhokali with the school principal and teachers along with respected Mr. Sanjay Bhoir Sir!

Here’s to an enriching new Academic Year! We have newer plans with Remedial Education and Foundational Literacy & Numeracy as our focus across our Thane Municipal Corporation and Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation School!

What began as a thought born out of passion to help students with Alternative Learning Needs took shape and came to be called Mimaansa.. year after year We grew through setbacks and highways we continued our resilient journey.. Today We take a big big step.. We expand to a new territory.. Bombay Municipal Corporation.. Mimaansa will now be supporting students across 5 schools in BMC along with our 19 TMC schools..

Our team has always been our robust support .. our spine.. but this day..our journey has also been possible because of my Parents, My Husband.. my sister, Brother in law who have had unwavering faith in my dreams.. taken turns at being by my side when I faltered when I felt overwhelmed.. Mimaansa truly wouldn’t have made this journey without them!

It's their ABILITY that makes us get up, roll up our sleeves and dive into their world! How inclusive are they..they have let us be a part of their world and we choose call it Our Work ..Our Mission.

Low grades in exams are not always a result of a child being lazy or dumb!

Often times a child just has a different Learning Need or an Alternative Learning Style!

They are not different or difficult but just unique!

And at such times 'One size fits all approach in education' does not help the child. The child needs a specialized method of instruction along with a lot of love!!!

These children have several other talents which get curbed or stay latent because they do not operate like the rest of the children.

A little tweak in our approach and these children can bloom!

Mimaansa supports more than 2995 students with learning problems from marginalized communities with our robust Online Remediation and Mental Health Support Programme.
An amount of only INR 1430/- per child will ensure that all our children continue to get the best support and care through this unimaginably tough year!

Another extremely rewarding week for Mimaansa!! We distributed over 700 basic stationery kits to the students of Thane Municipal Corporation. So grateful to our donors and supporters, the Thane Municipal Corporation teachers and principals and our beloved Team Mimaansa who keep putting Mimaansa's mission before everything else!!

Today, Mimaansa held a workshop called 'Online Etiquette and Safety' for over 60 students from the Thane Municipal Corporation. With all schooling moving to an online medium, it was of utmost necessity that students of all backgrounds understand the Do's and Dont's of using the internet while protecting themselves as well as respecting the people they communicate with.

On this day, during the annual celebration of people with disabilities, the 2020 theme ‘Not all Disabilities are Visible’ also focuses on spreading awareness and understanding of disabilities that are not immediately apparent, such as mental illness, neurological disorders, learning differences and cognitive dysfunctions, among others.
