An awareness session on “Safe Touch and UnsafeTouch” was conducted to help students understand personal safety and body boundaries. Students were explained the difference between safe touch and unsafe touch in an age-appropriate manner. They were encouraged to trust their feelings, say “NO” to uncomfortable touch, and report to a trusted adult immediately. The session helped build awareness, confidence, and a sense of safety among students.

Session Write-Up: Good touch and Bad Touch – POCSO Act Awareness (Grade 6 and 7)
The session on Touch and Protection was conducted to create awareness among students about personal safety and appropriate behavior. Students were informed about the concept of good touch, bad touch, and confusing touch using age-appropriate language and examples. The importance of body boundaries and the right to say “No” was clearly explained.
The session also included an introduction to the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act). Students were made aware that the law is meant to protect children and ensure their safety. They were informed about reporting mechanisms, trusted adults, and helpline support. Emphasis was given on speaking up, seeking help, and not feeling ashamed or scared.
Students actively participated and asked relevant questions. The session helped in building awareness, confidence, and a sense of responsibility towards self-protection. Overall, the session was informative, engaging, and impactful.

Session Report: Beyond Good Touch and Bad Touch
A session on “Beyond Good Touch and Bad Touch” was conducted to create awareness among students about personal safety and body boundaries. The session focused on helping students understand that touch is not always simply “good” or “bad,” but should be judged based on how it makes them feel.
Students were encouraged to recognize safe, unsafe, and confusing situations, and to trust their instincts if they feel uncomfortable, scared, or uneasy. The concept of body autonomy and the importance of setting personal boundaries were explained.
They were also guided on appropriate responses, such as saying “no,” moving away, and informing a trusted adult. Emphasis was placed on the message that it is never the child’s fault.
The session was interactive and age-appropriate, allowing students to participate, ask questions, and express their thoughts freely. Overall, the session aimed to empower students with awareness, confidence, and skills to ensure their safety.

Career Compass – Session Summary
A Career Compass session was conducted in the school to help students understand their strengths, interests, and future career possibilities. The session focused on exploring different academic streams and career routes, guiding students to make informed decisions. Students were encouraged to reflect on their skills and goals, and they gained clarity about various opportunities available ahead.
