The newly elected heads of the TED-Ed club are here !
Just like different paints on a pallet, 🎨 each head and co-head bring something unique to the table.
The members, although they belong to different departments, stand united under one aim: to learn and to strive for improvement.👥🗣✍🏻📈

The topic was discussed in depth, and it was concluded that fear can be debilitating and limiting, but its absence would bring a new set of challenges that would need to be resolved for the well-being and safety of individuals and the functioning of society as a whole.

In addition, members reflected on areas where religious institutions sometimes impede scientific progress and rational thought, leading to resistance to advances in areas such as medicine, reproductive rights, and LGBTQ+ rights. The topic was debated extensively and it was concluded that the impact of religion on humanity presents a mixed picture. While it has undoubtedly played a positive role in individuals' lives and society, the potential for negative consequences and division cannot be overlooked. Striking a balance between individual faith, tolerance, and respect for diverse beliefs is crucial for harnessing the positive aspects of religion while mitigating the harm it can cause.
