We are honoured to announce that our faculty 𝐃𝐫.𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 Dept of Pediatric and Preventive dentistry was invited as a keynote speaker at an International Conference ‘‘6th Edition of Euro-Global conference on Pediatrics and Neonatology ‘’ held during september 02/09/24-04/09/24 in Madrid, Spain.

1. For celebration of Anti-ragging Week, following program was decided by the Anti ragging committee members under the guidance of Principal Dr. V.�Sreenivasan Sir.
2. Digital Pamphlets were made and circulated amongst the students for encouraging maximum participation in the program.
* 12/08/2024 -A brief Orientation program for students on Anti-ragging by Dr. Uttam Shetty, the Co-Ordinator of the committee followed by Slogan writing competition.
* 13/08/2024 -Logo Designing competition and Interactive session among students
* 14/08/2024 -Skit performance by students on Anti-ragging awareness
* 16/08/2024 - Team building activity among students in the form of Quiz competition.
* 17/08/2024 - Presentation of Anti-Ragging Awareness Documentary to Students followed by Prize distribution for winners of the competitions held in the week.

Dr. Satish Kumar Menon, a distinguished alumnus of the Department of Periodontology, is renowned for his expertise in guiding young dental professionals in their career pursuits post-BDS. As a sought-after speaker on both national and international platforms, Dr. Menon shares invaluable insights on selecting the right career paths in dentistry. With a keen focus on empowering dental students, his talks are known for their practicality and relevance. Beyond the stage, Dr. Menon engages with a vast audience through his influential presence on social media, where he addresses contemporary dental issues and fosters meaningful discussions within the dental community.

Happy to share 𝐆𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐢 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐥 (Intern) has won 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 in Scientific Paper presentation competition under the guidance of Dr Vinayak Thorat at Udaan(Pune Dental Show) held on 30th & 31st March 2024

The department of Periodontology, BVDUDCH, Navi Mumbai had an enthusiastic and award-winning participation at the National level ISP PG Convention: Perio Synergy held at Navi Mumbai during 22nd-24th March 2024.

There were eight scientific paper and poster presentations done by our postgraduate students.

2nd Year Pgs 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐏𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐞 and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐚 jointly won the best paper presentation award and 1st year Pg 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢 won the best poster award in their respective sessions.

Most of the department teaching staff were part of the Conference organising committee and were applauded by the ISP head office for their exemplary contribution for the success of the convention.
