Starting with being part of NCPA Dance Season, being part of Sutra- curated by Gauri Sharma Tripathi along with my disciples and sharing the space with some lovely dancers.
Ended with watching a beautiful, authentic bharatnatyam production by P. Praveen Kumar “Tyagaraja Hurth Sadana” at Chember Fine Arts as part of their Indradhanush Festival.

Guru G.V. Ramani Natyakala Foundation presents- “Sita Kalyana Vaibhogame” as part of the Mumbai Dance Season,
with gracious support from the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA)
and Navi Mumbai Tamil Sangam.
Rooted in the rare Dakshina Bhajana Sampradaya, this Bharatanatyam production reimagines Sita Kalyanam through immersive, song-led storytelling.
Sacred bhajanas come alive as a kinetic narrative full of rhythm, abhinaya, and melody converging to celebrate divine union.
The choreography journeys from the tender intimacy of Sita-Rama’s wedding to the exuberant joy of Pattabhishekam, pulsing with energy, devotion, and rasa. Layered with evocative music, sculptural poses, and heightened emotion, it bridges temple traditions with contemporary theatricality.
A spiritually charged, visually arresting experience that is timeless, immersive, profoundly celebratory.
Preceded by a talk from Mumbai vaggeyakara and 3rd-generation Bhajana Sampradaya Bhagavata, Thane PS Krishnamurthy, followed by live bhajana and Bharatanatyam ensemble.
