Chancery cursive Script - Minuscules 1
The term "chancery hand" can mean two different historical handwriting styles. The first one was used for business in the 13th century and spread to France and England. The second style was cursive and based on humanist minuscule. It was developed by Niccolò Niccoli in the Vatican and was the origin of italic typefaces.

During the initial stages of learning, it's important to follow the prescribed pen-widths for each script to develop a strong foundation. Once you have gained expertise and confidence, you can start experimenting with different pen-widths to develop your own unique writing style and let your imagination and creativity flow freely onto the paper.
