I'm delighted to be the Top 1% Topper of the 12-week NPTEL course on “Smart Cities” offered by IIT Indore through the Swayam online platform.
My primary motivation for taking this course was to better guide postgraduate students working in this domain.
Receiving this Elite + Gold certificate with a consolidated score of 97% has further strengthened my confidence in contributing to this field through academia and research.

Today I delivered a session on "Overview of Precast Concrete Sandwich Wall Panels" at the ISTE approved 1 Week Online STTP on "Practical & Integrated Approaches in Structural & Geotechnical Engineering - from Design to Ex*****on" organised by the Department of Civil Engineering of Anjuman-I-Islam's Kalsekar Technical Campus - School of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous).

Happy to share that our project “Low Cost IoT Based Structural Health Monitoring System” has received a Research Grant under the Student Research Promotion Scheme (AY 2025–26) from the The Institution of Engineers (India), Navi Mumbai Local Centre.

I'd like to congratulate my students Shakaib Deshmukh and Safwan Shirdekar for this achievement and also extend my heartfelt thanks to my colleagues Prof. Vishal Gotarane and Dr. Salim G. Shaikh for their help in the proposal drafting.

I am glad to announce that I am one of the toppers of the NPTEL online certification course "Design Thinking - A Primer", that was offered by IIT Madras on the Swayam platform in Jan-Fab 2025. I received this Elite + Gold certificate for securing a consolidated score of 90% which placed me in the top 1% of the 4745 candidates who obtained this certification; which also happens to be a AICTE approved FDP.

- Exactly a month ago, on 18th February, 2025, I delivered an online session on "Green Audit of Existing Buildings and Sustainable Building Materials" at a Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled "Application of Computational Intelligence in Civil Engineering" organized by Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. It always gives me immense pleasure to share my ideas on topics related on sustainability and I look forward to more such opportunities.

On 1st February, 2025 (Saturday), at the NPTEL SPOC Workshop held at IIT Bombay, the NPTEL Local Chapter of our institute Anjuman-I-Islam's Technical Campus, New Panvel (LC1802) has been recognized as ACTIVE for Jul-Dec 2025 under the category ASPIRANT. At the above mentioned workshop, as the NPTEL SPOC of our institute, I received the Active SPOC certificate and the Active Local Chapter plaque. In the Jul-Dec 2024 semester, 125 learners from our institute appeared for NPTEL exams, out of which 5 were toppers, 51 received Elite certificates, 8 received Elite + Silver certificates, 2 received Elite + Gold certificates, 1 received FDP certificate and 3 received NPTEL fee waiver.

We congratulate the 10 SWAYAM NPTEL toppers (Jul-Dec 2023) from our institute.
67 learners successfully completed SWAYAM NPTEL courses last semester, out of whom, 5 received (Elite+Gold), 26 received (Elite+Silver) and 39 received Elite certificates.
Due to the above feats, the status of our NPTEL Local Chapter LC1802 is now Active.

I have always been passionate about sustainability in general and green buildings in particular... and with this certificate, I am looking forward to contribute more into these domains - not only via academics but also through research and practice.

I delevered an expert talk on "Green Audit" at VJTI today. It was a great experience sharing my knowledge and interacting with the bright and young minds of 2nd year diploma students of Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

My head is buzzing with all the new information I gathered in the past 5 days in this amazing training program organized by CII - Indian Green Building Council - IGBC and can't wait to apply (some of) them in my professional life.
