Bhai Dooj is the festival of bonding between brothers and sisters. On this day, sisters pray to God for the well-being and longevity of their brothers. In return, the brothers give gifts to their sisters. In certain parts of India, women who do not have brothers worship Moon. 'Bhai' means brother and 'Dooj' means the second day after the new moon which is a day of celebration. In Hinduism, the day holds special significance into the lives of a brother and a sister.

Overheard a conversation between a parent and a UCMAS counsellor:

Parent: How long is the program duration? I have a transferable job…can my child leave the program after a few months?

UCMAS counsellor: A very important question sir. UCMAS program has 9 to 11 levels with a total duration of about 2.5 to 3 years, depending on the track selected. Sir, we need to understand and appreciate that this is a brain development program and hence it is not advisable to dropout from between. If you have a transferable job, we can transfer your child to the new location without taking any additional registration fees. It is important that the child completes the whole program as UCMAS is a scientifically proven structured program which slowly trains the brain in various mental abilities like memory, concentration, focus, alertness, imagination, creativity, etc. UCMAS is a life skill and the true benefit of the training can be ensured only if the child completes the whole program. And finally sir, since this is a life skill, the development will stay with the child for ever. Like swimming and biking, once acquired, the child will never forget what he or she has been trained.

Give girls an opportunity to lead by putting them in the forefront of change efforts; hearing their voices; responding to their asks; and welcoming them in decision-making spaces - it is one of the ways to invest in a future that believes in girls' agency.

With adversity, however, comes resourcefulness, creativity, tenacity, and resilience. The world's 600 million adolescent girls have shown time and time again that given the skills and the opportunities, they can be the changemakers driving progress in their communities, building back stronger for all, including women, boys and men.

Gandhiji lived his life based on these 11 principles:

Ahimsa, Satya, Asteya, Brahmacharya, Aparigraha, Sharirshrama, Aswada, Sarvatra Bhayavarjana, Sarva Dharma Samantva, Swadeshi, Sparshbhavana were Gandhiji's 11 vows. Read about each of them. Ahimsa is a weapon of matchless potency.

Let’s make him proud by making our children- our future generation, strong, smart, and capable to be called good humans.

Brain development, better results in competitive exams, cognitive skills development, better grades in academics. etc etc. But what is it about this UCMAS program that makes the child so happy?

Children feel good because they stand out in the class. Their self confidence and independence from gadgets like calculator in the class is evident. They impress their colleagues by doing calculations with super speed and accuracy. Their overall grades improve and they become top performers in the class which makes them feel good. They get identified and recognised by the teachers and principals. Isn’t all this amazing?

Do not let your child miss out on these things. They are important for their overall confident upbringing. Enrol your child TODAY!!!
