DPVN Kids Re-opening After Summer Vacation 2024-25

The classrooms of DPVN Kids came back to life with the innocent giggles and refreshing energy of the tiny ones as the school reopened after a long and rejuvenating summer vacation on 10th June 2024, Monday.

The little learners were extremely excited to get a grand welcome by their teachers and reconnect with their friends and classmates. As a special greeting gesture, the kids engaged in various creative activities of making small takeaways like Cloud Headgear, Frog Balloon Craft and School Bag Craft.

Under the prolific guidance of our Respected Principal Ma’am, and with the continued efforts of our team, DPVN Kids is committed to build an atmosphere where learners’ early years of education are filled with enriching and fun-filled experiences that make a rock-solid foundation for a successful academic journey ahead.

The bustling premises of DPVN, Belapur, got illuminated with the magnificence of inspirational influence as the iconic leader, Honorable Dr. Shivani V. Patil, Pro-Chancellor & Vice-President, D Y Patil University, took time out of her busy schedule and paid a kind visit to spend some time with the DPVNites.

Right from the tiny ones of DPVN Kids to the young individuals of the DPVN CBSE Senior Secondary Section, Honorable Shivani Ma’am’s free spirit and curious energy filled the atmosphere with joy and ‘josh’. Our enthusiastic learners were beaming with elation as they got the opportunity to play with their role-model and learn that there is no defined path to success; winning means being willing to work harder, go longer and give more than anyone else. Be it the game of carrom or the match of table-tennis or a walk inside the ‘Museum on Wheels’, the gracious presence and motivating company of Honorable Shivani Ma’am served as a reminder to the entire team that it’s the connection with the people and the events around that creates magic and weaves memorable stories that inspire generations of achievers.

The ‘Museum on Wheels’ offered a unique opportunity to our learners to delve in to the fascinating world of heritage, arts and sciences with replicas, models and dioramas, audio-visual equipment. The interactive demo-kits, and art and craft activities aimed to promote hands-on learning and made the experience even more memorable and engaging for the young learners.

With the support of the Honorable Management, active and motivating involvement of Honorable Dr. Shivani V. World Environment Day 2024 @ DPVN
“Environment is no one’s property to destroy; it’s everyone’s responsibility to protect.”

At DPVN CBSE, Belapur, the reopening day, after a long and rejuvenating summer vacation, came with the most potent message for the entire humanity with an urge to protect our environment and nurture our beautiful planet on 5th June 2024, Wednesday. The day started with a special assembly to welcome the learners, and awaken them to the urgent need to nurture the life supporting verdure in our surroundings.
An inspiring address by our most Respected Principal Ma’am to welcome and sensitize the leaders of tomorrow and activate the young minds to the need of the hour was among the highlights of the day. The encouraging words of Respected Ma’am echoed the importance of focusing on today for a better tomorrow. She advised them to work steadily towards their personal growth and also to contribute towards building a greener and safer planet for our future. Under her magnificent guidance, the learners took the pledge to nurture the environment, and take small steps to bring the big change.
The day was also dotted with various programs conducted by the DPVN Eco Club under the orchestration of Respected Principal Ma’am and active participation of the learners which were dedicated to the cause of saving our environment. DPVN Tree Plantation Drive and DPVN Rally to protect and promote eco-friendly approach were a part of the epilogue to the mega cleanliness drive, Restoring the Earth, based on the theme ‘Dharti ki Awaaz’, organized by the D Y Patil University.

Clean Up Drive Initiative led by Ms. Rajlakshmi V Patil, Founder of D-CAL, D Y Patil University

The new session of 2024-25 started after the summer vacation with a significant step towards nurturing our beautiful planet through a mega clean-up drive, Restoring the Earth, based on the theme ‘Dharti ki Awaaz’. Under the visionary leadership of the young environmentalist, Ms Rajlakshmi V Patil, Founder of D-CAL, D Y Patil University, team DPVN displayed a strong sense of responsibility and commitment towards society and our planet.

The learners of DPVN CBSE, Belapur, actively participated in the initiative at the DPS Flamingo Lake, Nerul undertaken by the D Y Patil University and Rotary Club of Navi Mumbai Joy of Giving in partnership with DYP Climate Action Lab. The event aimed to promote cleanliness and awareness about responsible waste disposal while engaging the community in a collective effort to clean and beautify the surroundings.

The enthusiastic involvement and encouragement of our most respected Principal Ma’am in this great step also played a crucial role in awakening and motivating the young citizens of our country.

Ahead of the World Environment Day on 5th June, around 450 kg of plastic was removed from the lake, and non-biodegradable idols of gods and goddesses were also collected during the drive which were sent to the DY Patil’s Institute of Design and Creativity for refurbishing.

The mega initiative was a major move in fostering consciousness, considerateness and concern among the future generations for our environment that will result in mindful approach and help to build a healthier and sustainable tomorrow.

Clay Work

The tiny DPVNites of DPVN Kids created magic with clay and their tiny fingers at the DPVN Kids Summer Camp 2024-25. The creative geniuses of tomorrow created memories forever while mastering the art of clay moulding, and proved once again that mighty imaginations are never limited by age or size. The kind presence of the most Respected Principal Ma’am motivated the little artists to give the best shapes to their sparkling imaginations through clay work.

At DPVN Kids, the young learners are provided with the most conducive environment and the best of the opportunities so that they can develop as confident individuals equipped with the necessary tools and skills to create a better tomorrow.

DPVN Summer Camp 2024-25 Culmination

The DPVN Summer Camp 2024-25, an exclusive platform for the young DPVNites to enhance their skills and enrich themselves in a fun-filled environment, reached its culmination on 11th May 2024, Saturday. The multi-activity summer camp offered a range of engaging and age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities for all the learners right from Pre-School to Secondary Section.

Having started on 2nd May with a grand inauguration by the most esteemed, Dr. Shivani V Patil, Honourable Pro Chancellor & Vice President, D Y Patil University, under the guidance of the most Respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Ashu Rana, the camp brought an opportunity for the young learners to engage in various activities to supplement their regular learning and enhance their personality development.

The day was also marked with an exciting Felicitation and Prize Distribution Ceremony to appreciate the participants and the winners in various competitive events. It was extremely encouraging for everyone to be honoured with the kind presence of the chief architect of all our achievements, our most respected Principal Ma'am. One of the highlights of the day was the address by the most Respected Principal Ma’am that invigorated the learners.

As the day marked a closing of our leaners' much loved DPVN Summer Camp 2024-25, it also gave us the reason to look forward to the next exciting episode of creativity, learning, fun and entertainment.

YOGA & PAINTING

The 9th day of the DPVN Summer Camp 2024-25 witnessed the learners showcasing the power and stability of their mind and body through Yoga, as well as expressing the most beautiful colours and forms of their imaginations through Painting. Promoting self-improvement and self-acceptance among the learners, the Yoga session took them on a journey to their inner selves, while the Painting session was an opportunity to bring order in their thought and vision by giving them an external form.

DPVN CBSE, Belapur, aims to bring out the genius in every child by fostering creativity and supporting their physical, psychological, emotional and social development throughout the crucial phase of their development.

Best Out of Waste

“Creativity is making marvelous out of the discarded.”
Giving the little learners an opportunity to showcase their creativity and innovation, the 6th day of the DPVN Kids Summer Camp 2024-25 brought forward the ‘Best out of Waste’ activity. The aim of the activity was to promote creativity, resourcefulness, and environmental awareness among young children. The activity encouraged children to repurpose and recycle materials to create new and useful items. By repurposing waste materials, the children learned the importance of recycling and reducing waste.

DPVN Kids is committed to create a better tomorrow by crafting thoughtful citizens who will be sensitive and responsible towards the humanity with an ability to bring a positive change around us.

DPVN CBSE Summer Camp – Day 8: 9th May
Basketball & Cricket

"You are never really playing an opponent. You are playing yourself, your own highest standards, and when you reach your limits, that is real joy."

The campers of DPVN Summer Camp 2024-25 dedicated the 8th day of the multi-activity camp to the sports of Basketball and Cricket, and displayed the supreme qualities of personal strength, resilience and grit on the ground. They also showed that champions are truly made from something that lies deep within them, and that the motivation and excitement of playing the game comes from their love for the sports. The highlight of the day was the gracious presence and involvement of the most respected Principal Ma’am that encouraged the participants to perform their best.
