Bhai Dooj is the festival of bonding between brothers and sisters. On this day, sisters pray to God for the well-being and longevity of their brothers. In return, the brothers give gifts to their sisters. In certain parts of India, women who do not have brothers worship Moon. Overheard a conversation between a parent and a UCMAS counsellor:

Parent: How long is the program duration? I have a transferable job…can my child leave the program after a few months?

UCMAS counsellor: A very important question sir. UCMAS program has 9 to 11 levels with a total duration of about 2.5 to 3 years, depending on the track selected. Sir, we need to understand and appreciate that this is a brain development program and hence it is not advisable to dropout from between. If you have a transferable job, we can transfer your child to the new location without taking any additional registration fees. It is important that the child completes the whole program as UCMAS is a scientifically proven structured program which slowly trains the brain in various mental abilities like memory, concentration, focus, alertness, imagination, creativity, etc. UCMAS is a life skill and the true benefit of the training can be ensured only if the child completes the whole program. And finally sir, since this is a life skill, the development will stay with the child for ever. Like swimming and biking, once acquired, the child will never forget what he or she has been trained.
