Pratham Rekha is a collective art exhibition showcasing the artworks of 20+ young and emerging students from Sahil Drawing Classes in collaboration with Navrang Drawing Class.

This exhibition brings together students of different age groups and skill levels, presenting a mix of drawings and paintings created through discipline, learning, and sincere artistic effort.
For many participants, this marks an important step — seeing their work displayed publicly and recognised beyond the classroom.

Most adults who walk into my class don’t say, “I want to become an artist.”

They say,
“I used to like drawing… but I don’t think I have talent.”

That’s the real problem.

People don’t stop creating because they’re incapable.
They stop because they’ve been given scattered tutorials, rushed hobby courses, and no real guidance.
No one corrected them when it mattered.
No one showed them a clear path forward.

That’s where I step in.

I’m not here to run long classes, give homework, or drag things for months.
I built a simple 15-day system where adults show up, work under guidance, and see progress quickly — without stress.

You don’t need motivation.
You need structure, feedback, and a process that actually works.

I didn’t create Sahil Drawing Classes to run batches, finish syllabus, or check attendance.

I started it because I kept noticing the same issue: adults who once loved art convincing themselves that they weren’t talented enough. This includes working professionals, homemakers, and others who still have creativity inside them but lack a safe space to express it.

The uncomfortable truth is that most people don’t fail at art for lack of talent. They fail because they never got clear guidance, real feedback, or a system that actually helps.

When learning feels confusing, slow, and lonely, people give up. They don’t quit because they can’t draw; they quit because no one helped them believe they could.

This class aims to change that.

It’s a space designed specifically for adults.
A space where mistakes are corrected immediately.
Where fundamentals are explained clearly.
Where progress is visible.
And where people leave feeling proud of what they created—sometimes for the first time in years.

Art is not a luxury.
It keeps us human in a world that is becoming faster, louder, and more mechanical every day.
