National Science Day Celebration at RISSE – A Day of Fun and Discovery!

RISSE School celebrated National Science Day with an exciting lineup of hands-on science activities that captivated students from Nursery to Grade 9. The school buzzed with enthusiasm as young minds explored the wonders of physics, chemistry, and engineering through engaging experiments.

Observation:
Students were actively involved in performing various science experiments under the guidance of their teachers. Each experiment was designed to spark curiosity and deepen their understanding of scientific concepts in a fun and interactive way.

From experiencing the joy of static electricity to witnessing the magic of soap repelling oil, every student had an opportunity to explore science beyond textbooks. They observed how a magnetic field helped a coin revolve, how water pressure filled a vacuum bottle, and even how simple materials could create working motors, lava lamps, parachutes, and windmills.

Key Learnings & Takeaways:
1. Static Electricity – Students learned how charged particles interact by rubbing balloons on their hair, making small objects move without direct contact.
2. Magic Soap Experiment – Demonstrated the concept of surface tension and how soap breaks down grease and oil.
3. Magnetism in Motion – Showed how magnetic fields can influence objects, making a coin revolve without touching it.
4. Water Pressure & Vacuum Effect – Explained how water naturally fills an empty bottle due to air pressure.
5. Simple Motors & Wind Energy – Introduced students to the basics of electrical circuits and renewable energy sources.
6. Parachutes & Windmills – Highlighted principles of air resistance, aerodynamics, and energy conversion.

मराठी दिन उत्सव – RISSE School

RISSE The Xperiential School मध्ये मराठी भाषा दिवस उत्साहात व अभिमानाने साजरा करण्यात आला. कार्यक्रमाची सुरुवात श्री विठ्ठल-रुक्मिणी आणि कुसुमाग्रज यांच्या साहित्य प्रतिमांच्या पूजनाने झाली. आदरणीय प्राचार्या श्रीमती स्मिता पाटील मॅडम*व समर्पित शिक्षकवृंदांनी हा पवित्र विधी पार पाडला.

यानंतर, मराठी साहित्याचा सुवर्णकाल दर्शवणारी "दिंडी यात्रा" काढण्यात आली. या दिंडीत पालखी आणि मराठी साहित्य व संस्कृतीचे प्रतीक असलेल्या - संत, कवी, आणि विचारवंतांच्या वेशभूषेत विद्यार्थी सहभागी झाले. मराठी समाजाला ज्ञान व मूल्यांची शिकवण देणाऱ्या, या विभूतींनी आपली संस्कृती समृद्ध केली आहे, याचे दर्शन या दिंडीमधून घडले.

कार्यक्रमात 'चौथी ते आठवीतील' विद्यार्थ्यांनी सुंदर कविता, प्रभावी भाषणे, चारोळ्या आणि मराठी दिनाचे महत्त्व सांगणाऱ्या माहितीपूर्ण सादरीकरणांनी सर्वांचे मन जिंकले.

संपूर्ण शाळेच्या वातावरणात मराठी संस्कृतीचा अभिमान, पारंपरिक वेशभूषेचे सौंदर्य आणि दिंडीच्या घोषणांनी उत्साह निर्माण केला. विद्यार्थ्यांचा जोश, शिक्षकांचा सहभाग आणि मराठीचा गौरव यामुळे हा सोहळा संस्मरणीय ठरला.

All four houses depicted significant moments from *Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s life*:

A *spectacular flash mob dance* followed, celebrating Maratha valor with energetic *Lavani and Powada* performances.

*Speeches and Competitions*
Inspirational speeches by school dignitaries emphasized *Chhatrapati
Shivaji Maharaj’s leadership, governance, and justice*. The program continued with:
- *Elocution Competition (Grade 5-9)* on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's legacy.
- *Fancy Dress Competition (Nursery-Grade 4)featuring students dressed as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Jijamata, and Mavlas*.

The event ended on a high note with *Chhatrapati Shiv Garjana*, filling the air with *pride and patriotism*.

Our grade 4 to 9 students recently returned from an unforgettable picnic escapade in the breathtakingly beautiful Lonavala!

*A Royal Stay*
The students indulged in a luxurious stay at a 4-star resort, where they enjoyed delicious meals and top-notch amenities such as beautiful waterpool view and gaming zone. They grooved on the beats of DJ as they joined together for a DJ night.

*Divine Blessings*
A visit to the revered Narayani Dham Temple was a serene and enriching experience. The students were fascinated by the stunning idols of gods and goddesses.

*Waxing Wonder*
Next, they explored Sunil's Wax Museum, marveling at the incredibly lifelike wax idols that seemed almost real!

*Sweet Treats*
The famous chikki of Lonavala proved to be a sweet delight for our students, who happily purchased and savored the tasty treats!

*Water Park Fun*
The excitement reached new heights at the Wet 'n' Joy Water Park! Our students splashed, played, and laughed together, enjoying the thrilling water slides and wave pools.

The students then headed to the Amusement Park, where they experienced the rush of adrenaline on the roller coasters, pirate ships, and other exhilarating rides!

*Celebrating the 76th Republic Day at RISE School, Pimpalgaon Nashik*

On the auspicious occasion of the 76th Republic Day, RISE School, Pimpalgaon, Nashik, came alive with patriotism and pride as the entire school gathered to commemorate this significant day in India’s history. The event was a harmonious blend of cultural activities, inspiring speeches, and moments of national pride.

Mst. Sarvesh Shelke and Ms. Aryashri Tidake took charge of hosting the 76th Republic Day program with remarkable confidence and grace. Their eloquence, poise, and seamless coordination captivated the audience, ensuring the event flowed effortlessly.

The celebration commenced with the grand *welcoming of our esteemed Director, Mr. Shikhar Srivastava, Founder Members, and Principal, Mrs. Smita Patil*, for the flag hoisting ceremony. Their presence added a special significance to the occasion, symbolizing the unity and vision of the school.

As the tricolor was unfurled, the entire gathering stood tall and proud, saluting the flag. The *National Anthem* was sung with great fervor, followed by the soul-stirring *Zenda Geet*, igniting a deep sense of patriotism among all present.

The event moved forward with an inspiring *speech by our Principal, Mrs. Smita Patil*, who emphasized the importance of this day in our democratic history. She encouraged students to uphold the values of freedom, equality, and justice, reminding them of their responsibilities as future citizens of India.

This was followed by thought-provoking speeches by two of our talented students, *Mst. Kalki Srivastava and Mst. Spandan Kushare*, who eloquently expressed their perspectives on the significance of the Republic Day. Their words resonated deeply with the audience, reflecting the enthusiasm and spirit of our young generation.

The highlight of the event was an energetic and heartwarming *patriotic flash mob presentation* by students from Grades 1 to 10. The beautifully choreographed *patriotic mashup dance performance* celebrated India’s unity in diversity and left the audience mesmerized, receiving thunderous applause.

Our esteemed Director, *Mr. Shikhar Srivastava*, then addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, reflecting on India’s progress and the role of education in shaping the nation. 🎭 Enactment of *The Proposal* by Grade 10 Students!

Our Grade 10 students recently brought Anton Chekhov's *The Proposal* to life in the classroom, and what an enriching experience it was! The play's humorous plot created a lively atmosphere, making the activity both fun and educational. 🌟

Through this enactment, students got the chance to:
- 💬 Refine their language skills by practicing and delivering lines with precision.
- 🎤 Work on voice modulation—adjusting tone, pitch, and pace to reflect the emotions of their characters.
- 🎭 Build confidence in public speaking and stage performance.

This experience was more than just a performance; it was a creative way for our students to strengthen their communication abilities and boost their language proficiency in a practical, hands-on setting.
