On 28th July, 2023 Fravashi group of schools got the privilege to host the All India Elocution Competition & Socratic Discussion - 'The Mind Unleashed', in commemoration of the G20 Summit, in association with Forum of Free Enterprise (FFE) and The A D Shroff Memorial Trust, at the campus of Fravashi International Academy, Nashik.

In the presence of the curator of this event, Mr. Raghav Narsalay (Managing Director- at a large MultI-National Company), Mr. Ratan Luth (Chairman, Fravashi Schools), Ms. Swati Kapadia ( CEO , FFE), Mr. Anansh Prasad (Founder, SkillSphere Education), and the entire management of Fravashi Schools, 32 participants from various schools/ junior colleges put across their point of view pertaining to different topics revolving around G20 at the competition.

In commemoration of the G20 summit, FIA had also organized the All India Essay Competition 2023 through an online platform and received more than 300 essays, across 10 states and 30 cities. The best 25 essays were compiled in the form of a book which was unveiled at the hands of dignitaries present at FIA for the Elocution Competition. A proposition of the Elocution Competition would be sent to Hon. Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi ji & to Hon. Mr. Amitabh Kant – the G20 Sherpa of India.

The entire audience got the privilege of being addressed by three eminent personalities during the day. Mr. Nagaraj Naidu Kakanur (Hon. Joint Secretary in the G20 Secretariat) , Mr. Sanjeev Chopra,- IAS - former Secretary to Government of India and former Director of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration & Hon. Mr. Pradeep Mehta - the founder Secretary General of Consumer Unity & Trust Society (CUTS International) & former member of WTO and Government of India policy panel.

The day ended on a happy note with the Prize Distribution where the winners took home trophies, certificates & cash prizes. Through this initiative of FIA, the young minds of India got this wonderful opportunity to contribute towards the betterment of their country in context with the G20.





Forum of Free Enterprise

Delighted to share the wonderful accomplishment of Ms. Vanshika Patil, studying in grade VI at Fravashi Academy.

Vanshika emerged victorious by winning a trophy at the illustrious 21st National Level All India Karate Championship, organised by the World Traditional Shotokan Karate Federation (WTSKF), held in Goa.

The Fravashi family is proud of Vanshika’s triumph and wishes her more laurels in the future.

Mr. Nitin Yadav - Regional Head, South Asia for Cambridge at the Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring conducted 'Cambridge Early Years Check Together’ - an informative session, at Fravashi International Academy for its parents of Early Years 1, 2, and 3.
Fulfilling his duties as South Asia's Regional Head with dedication, vision, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, Mr. Yadav has been instrumental in transforming the educational landscape.
The session proved advantageous for the parents as they discovered strategies and tools for the next generation of learners to rise higher.

Fravashi International Academy hosted a unique and one of its kind event, Takseem -e- Hindustan ie. Partition of India on Saturday, 22nd July, 2023 to commemorate the 77th year of Indian Independence.

This was an evening dedicated to stories and poems by renowned poets and authors like Gulzar, Manto, Nida Fazli and Atal Bihari Vajpayee who through literature, captured the agony
experienced by people due to the partition.

Ms. Manju Surendran, Director Academics, FIA was one of the key presenters and this event was entirely her brainchild.
Along with her were, Ms. Namita Prakash- Hindi facilitator, language specialist, theatre artist, hindi voice over artist and trainer and
Mr. Prashant Katiyayan- a software engineer but a poet by heart. He is also a writer who's name is famous in the storytelling circuit in various parts of India.

The soulful renditions of the three presenters left the audience feeling compassionate and and encouraged self reflection.

The May 2023 Issue of 'Scoo News’ themed on ‘Learning by Heart: Prioritising Social-Emotional Learning in Schools’, featured Mrs. Manju Surendran's article that expressed her thoughts and ideas on the topic.
Her words perfectly express the positive effects of the combination of this educational method, with a school’s curriculum, that in-turn helps a child recognise his/her own emotions, fosters self-awareness, and empowers them to perform better in different circumstances.

Fravashi Academy’s stellar skater, Ms. Manasvi Kulkarni, from grade VIII, makes the school’s name shine at the national level.
Manasvi participated at the West Zone Roller Skating Speed Championship organised by the renowned Roller Skating Federation Of India (Nashik District).
She clinched the 3rd position, a medal, and a certificate for her incredible performance and earned a spot in the upcoming National Sprint Race.

Fravashi Academy organised a grand Felicitation Ceremony for the top performers of the Grades X and XII, (ICSE, SSC and HSC) Board Examinations 2022-23, on Friday, July 07,2023.
Mr. Ratan Luth - Chairman of Fravashi Schools addressed the august gathering, congratulated the achievers, and motivated the students to strive towards their goals with relentless efforts, disciplined lifestyle, and commitment. He further requested the entire audience to give a standing ovation to the teachers for working hard and guiding these young minds towards excellence.
The ceremony featured inspiring speeches from the top rankers who expressed gratitude to their teachers, parents, and school administration for their unwavering support.
One of the grandparent who had come on behalf of an achiever congratulated the school's team for nurturing her grandson in the best possible way, and further blessed the Fravashi family to achieve many more such laurels.
The beautiful ceremony concluded on an emotional note with the inauguration of a special wall in the school campus which has been dedicated to the school's senior art tutor Late Mr. Pritam Khairnar, as a celebration of his art. This creative space will be adorned by various art works of the students.

Fravashi International Academy is happy to share that its Grade X student, Ms. Jivaana Luthra, has successfully completed the Oxford and Cambridge Programmes - Online Medicine course.
Led by the academics from the University of Cambridge, this programme helped her to learn about the Biology of Disease and the Social Context of Health and Illness. Further she also received guidance from a working UK doctor, and got the chance to take on the role of a doctor as they worked together to diagnose illnesses based on the symptoms.
Over the 2-week course, Jivaana worked with other participants in a mentor-led group to study medicine deeper and submitted an illness research report on the final day of the course.

The students of today are the future of the country. To help them achieve their maximum potential, it's important to keep them informed about the career choices emerging across the globe.
With this aim, Prof. Dayaram Sharma - Chief Advisor (Academics and Business Collaboration), Fravashi Academy conducted the ‘Career Choice’ workshop for the school's grade VIII students.
He guided the students through distinctive streams, made them aware of the different arenas of education, and patiently answered their queries.

Fravashi Academy is overjoyed to share the magnificent feat of Ms. Radhika Mahale - the young mountaineer from grade VIII.
Radhika has brought immense glory to herself, the school, and the nation by hiking up to the Mount Everest Base Camp, which lies at a height of 5364 metres above sea level.
The Fravashi family congratulates Radhika on this extravagant ascend and wishes her greater heights of success in the future.

The Interact Club students of Fravashi International Academy successfully installed waste bins at prominent locations across the city on June 27, 2023. The Nashik Municipal Corporation greatly assisted the interact club of FIA with the requisite permission and support required for the installation.

With immense pride, the Interact Club students of FIA were able to raise a CSR fund of Rs 1 Lakh, which was generously sponsored by Mr. Abhijit Junagade, Co-founder of Winjit Technologies. The fund was rightly utilized to install 10 waste bins at two prominent venues of the city, that is City Centre Mall and Shivaji Road. Additionally, they also established a library at two ZP schools located near Dugaon and Galoshi.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including the Hon. NMC Commissioner, Ms. Bhagyashree Banayat, the Hon. NMC Director, Dr. Kalpana Kute, and the Division Sanitation Inspector, Mr. Sanjay Gosavi, as well as the Sanitation Inspectors, Mr. Dilip Chawan and Mr. Raju Gaikwad.

The event was also graced by the Chairman of Fravashi Schools - Mr. Ratan Luth, Managing Trustee - Ms. Meghna Bakshi, FIA's Director Academics - Mrs. Manju Surendran, along with Mr. Abhijit Junagade.

The Rotary President, Mr. Praful Bardiya, and other Rotarians also witnessed this momentous occasion. The esteemed guests were felicitated by the young Interact students of FIA.

With only 17 participants selected from India for this esteemed masterclass programme, Ronaq, Ishi, and Ashi outshined the other 203 applicants and are amazingly the only 3 students to qualify from Nashik.

Fravashi International Academy’s karate kid, Ms. Samaira Das, participated in the 21st WTSKF(World Traditional Shotokan Karate Federation) All India Karate Championship held at Goa.
The championship witnessed a participation of 1200 students from around 18 states.
Amazingly, Samaira - a brown belt player clinched a silver medal in Kumite in the sub-junior category.

Security Staff Day was celebrated on 26th May, 2023 to express gratitude towards the security teams of Fravashi Academy and Fravashi International Academy.
They were made to feel special in a variety of ways through an entertaining limited-overs cricket match, fun games, spot prizes and bumper lucky draws. The celebration ended with a sumptuous meal, laughter and fond memories.

Fravashi International Academy- Nashik's only Early Years Centre, was obliged with the visit of Ms. Nirali Pandya, Business Development Manager, Cambridge Early Years.
Ms. Nirali comprehended the operations of FIA's Cambridge Early Years Centre and its finer nuances.
She also had a brief interaction with the Director Academics - Mrs. Manju Surendran, to further strengthen FIA's partnership with Cambridge International Assessment Education (CAIE).

Fravashi International Academy’s Interact Club in association with the Rotary club of Nasik, is the first Interact Club to raise a CSR fund for community service.

In the 78 year old journey of the International and National Rotary club, this effort to raise a CSR fund has been recognised by the Rotary club as one of its kind in the country. On Saturday, June 3rd 2023, the Rotary Governor - Dr. Anand Jhunjhunwala felicitated the interact club volunteers and coordinator Mrs. Reena Malhotra at a glittering ceremony at Rotary Club Hall, Ganjamal, Nashik in the presence of all four rotary clubs of Nashik District.

Fravashi Academy’s superb shuttler from grade IX, Ms. Hita Agrawal, participated in the Maharashtra State Open Badminton Tournament organised in Mumbai under the aegis of the Maharashtra Badminton Association & Greater Mumbai Badminton Association.
Hita and her partner clinched the U-17 Girls’ Doubles Winning title and also the Runner-Up position in the Women's Doubles finals.
Her brilliant performance displayed teamworking skills, determination, and unparalleled passion for the sport.

Along with academic attainments, Fravashi Schools have always encouraged the sporty passions of students and wholeheartedly celebrated their triumphs.

FIA’s grade IV student, Ms. Meera Dixit, participated in the U-11 girls category of the NIWEC Open Badminton Championship organised in association with the Nashik District Badminton Association.
Contending against 16 other players, Meera successfully won the league stage and gradually qualified for the quarterfinals and semifinals.

By putting forth a gripping performance for the Champion’s Trophy, Meera grabbed the runner-up position.
