The Government of India has issued a critical notice regarding the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) Act, 2021. Here’s what you need to know:

🚨 Key Highlights:
The nomination of medical doctors as Chairpersons/Members of State Allied & Healthcare Councils is not compliant with the NCAHP Act.

Existing state councils for allied healthcare professions must be repealed, and new councils must be formed as per the Act.

11 states/UTs are yet to constitute or reconstitute their councils per Section 22.

-The NCAHP Act overrides all prior state laws/rules for allied healthcare professions.

This ensures our profession is represented correctly in state councils, safeguarding our rights and roles under the law.
