Podar International School, ICSE Nashik, celebrated the 80th Independence Day on August 15, 2026, with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour under the theme β€œYuva Shakti for Viksit Bharat@2047.”

The celebration began with flag hoisting by the Guests of Honour selected by a fair and transparent lottery system from amongst the parents, teachers, students, house-keeping and transport staff. The flag song β€œVijayi Vishwa.” was sung with great pride. The programme featured a classical Ganesh Vandana dance presentation, a group song, inspiring speeches, a patriotic skit and a vibrant group dance.

Grade X merit holders were felicitated for their outstanding academic achievements. The Chief guest, Mr. Kasim Sayyed and Principal, Dr.Manohar Mahajan inspired the gathering with their addresses.

The celebration beautifully reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity, youth power and pride in the nation, making the day truly memorable
