On 7th March 2026, St. Francis High School, Rane Nagar, Nashik organized a special Award Ceremony and Women’s Day celebration in the School premises . The distinguished guests who graced the occasion were Ms. Dhanashree Rathi, Dr.Mithila Chavan, Mr. Rahul Borse (Alumni), Ms. Ruchaa Shukla(Alumni),Ms. Mithila Dongaonkar and Rev. Sanjay Gavit.The celebration included various cultural and informative presentations by the students. A meaningful speech was delivered highlighting the importance of International Women’s Day and the message from the Managing Director, Dr. Grace Pinto, was conveyed by the Headmistress encouraging students to value the role and contribution of women in society. Students presented a skit, classical dance, action song and a melodious solo singing performance which added charm to the programme. A PPT presentation showcased the students’ internship, picnic and field visits as well as the awards and achievements of the Managing Director Dr.Grace Pinto. As a part of the programme, a tree plantation activity was conducted where three rose saplings were planted in pots by the hands of guest, symbolizing growth, care and respect for nature.

St. Francis High School, Rane Nagar celebrated "National Science Day" with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and teachers.
A grand Science Exhibition was organized for students from Std I to IX. Students of Std VI to IX showcased various innovative working models such as robots, remote control toy cars, water purifiers, and other creative projects demonstrating scientific principles. The exhibition reflected students’ creativity, teamwork, and practical understanding of concepts.
An Inter-House Debate Competition was conducted for Std IV, V, and IX, encouraging students to confidently express their views on scientific topics. To further enhance knowledge and interest in science, a Quiz Competition was organized for students
from Sr. KG to Std VIII.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON MARATHI DAY

Marathi Day celebration was held with great enthusiasm at St. Francis High School, Rane Nagar, Nashik on 27th February 2026. The programme began with the Lord’s Prayer, followed by Bible reading from the Holy Bible and a special prayer. The solemn atmosphere was further enriched with melodious prayer songs presented by the students. The chief guest for the occasion was Mr. Chaudhari from Jaju Vidyalaya. He was warmly welcomed with a flowering sapling, welcome card, thank-you card, and a heartfelt welcome speech along with a welcome song.
The cultural programme showcased the rich essence of Marathi tradition and talent. The tiny tots captivated the audience with a beautiful action song showcasing their confidence, coordination and joyful spirit which was highly appreciated by everyone present.. Students of Std. VI presented an energetic folk dance, while Std. V students recited Marathi poems with confidence and expression. Prize distribution was conducted to appreciate the achievements of students. A symbolic tree plantation in a pot was also carried out, highlighting the importance of nurturing language and culture just like nature.
In his address, Mr. Chaudhari enlightened the students about the significance of Marathi Day and the importance of preserving and promoting the Marathi language. The programme concluded with a sincere vote of thanks, followed by the National Song, marking the end of a meaningful and memorable celebration.

The birthday of our Respected Managing Director, Dr. Grace Pinto Madam, was celebrated with great joy and reverence at St. Francis High School, Rane Nagar, Nashik on 20th Feb 2026 (Friday). A special assembly was conducted by the students of Std VII (Secondary Section) and Std V (Primary Section).
The students presented beautiful prayer songs and a meaningful skit based on moral values, highlighting the virtues that Madam herself upholds and inspires in the school community. A PowerPoint presentation showcasing Madam’s remarkable achievements and contributions to the field of education was shared, which filled everyone with pride and admiration.

Our Sr. KG students confidently conducted the Pre-Primary Assembly with great enthusiasm and joy.
The little ones spoke clearly and performed beautifully, showcasing their confidence and stage presence. It was wonderful to see their teamwork, coordination, and growing communication skills. The assembly was well-organized.

Students Get Hands-On Learning Experience at Traffic Park

On February 6, 2026, a group of V-A Std students from St.Francis High school Rane Nagar, Nashik embarked on an educational field trip to Traffic park

The visit aimed to provide students with a practical understanding of the traffic rules
and learn about the importance of following rules and regulations during Driving and ensure safety on road

The trip was designed to complement the students' classroom learning, offering a real-world perspective on the whole following Traffic rule

Students were enthusiastic about the experience, asking questions and engaging with the staff to learn more.

The field trip was a resounding success, providing students with a valuable learning experience that will stay with them long after the visit.

On February 7, 2026, 150 students of Std 8 and their Class Teachers visited the Artillery Centre, Deolali. They explored the Museum, which showcases various weapons, guns, tanks, swords, and horses used in wars. The students gained historical insights and watched a video on war-related information. Students gain information about the ancient war and the modern war equipments.

On 4 February 2026, a field visit to the Botanical Garden was organized for the students of Std VII as part of experiential learning to enhance their understanding of plant life and environmental studies.

As part of this educational visit, students from St. Francis High School, Rane­ Nagar, Nashik, visited the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Garden. Students were introduced to a wide variety of plants including medicinal plants, flowering plants, shrubs, trees, and herbs. They learned about uses of plants, and the importance of biodiversity.

Th students observed different plant species, seed varieties, and garden sections such as the medicinal plant section and ornamental plant area. The guide explained the parts of plants, their functions, and the role of plants in maintaining ecological balance.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION WITH REVERENCE AND GAIETY

St. Francis High School, Rane Nagar, celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm along with the Golden Jubilee of the St. Xavier Group of Institutions. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Ms. Pratibha Pagar followed by a disciplined March Past., Mr. Chetan Joshi, Dr. Atul Sonawane, Dr. Pranali Deshpande, Dr. Krupali Manjrekar, Mr. Prashant Sawant, Ms. Aparna Ghate, Mr. Milind Sajgure, Past. Deepak Sharma graced the occasion. On this auspicious occasion, the golden jubliee logo marking 50 years of the institution was unveiled by the hands of the honoured guests.
