World Art Day Celebrated with Creativity and Enthusiasm at Rasbihari International School
Rasbihari International School celebrated World Art Day with great enthusiasm, highlighting creativity, imagination, and artistic expression among students from the primary and secondary sections. The celebration was enriched by the presence of Prof. Anand Abhang, who was invited as a guest lecturer for the primary section. During the interactive session, Prof. Abhang demonstrated how simple lines and shapes can be creatively used to form meaningful pictures and images. He introduced students to different art forms and thoughtfully explained their significance. The session was highly engaging, allowing young learners to understand how elements of art such as line, shape, and form can be effectively used to create expressive artworks. His demonstration inspired curiosity and confidence among the students, encouraging them to explore their artistic abilities freely. For the secondary section, a poster-making competition was organized to mark the occasion. A Joyful and Energetic Beginning to the New Academic Year
The new academic year at Rasbihari International School began on a cheerful and vibrant note, as students stepped into school filled with excitement and enthusiasm. The first day was thoughtfully planned with a range of fun-filled and engaging activities, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere across the campus.
A special morning assembly marked the beginning of the day, where students showcased their talents by singing different songs and sharing meaningful affirmations that spread positivity and confidence. The Principal warmly welcomed the students and addressed them, motivating and inspiring them with encouraging words for a successful and joyful learning journey.
Class teachers extended a warm welcome to their students, helping them feel comfortable and settled in their new classrooms. A variety of ice-breaking activities were conducted to foster bonding, interaction, and friendship among classmates.The classroom experience was made even more delightful through engaging dance, rhyme, and story sessions, thoughtfully designed to make learning enjoyable and interactive.
Pre-Primary students enthusiastically participated in playful activities such as action songs, movement games, circle time conversations, and hands-on play-based tasks, which encouraged curiosity and joyful learning. These activities helped students express themselves creatively, build social connections, and ease comfortably into the academic routine.
Students also participated in framing essential agreements, collaboratively discussing values such as respect, responsibility, and cooperation, thereby laying a strong foundation for a safe and supportive learning environment.

Community Outreach Program – Grade 3
The students of Grade 3 participated in a meaningful Community Outreach Program by visiting Matoshree Saraswati Prathmik Vidyamandir, Konarknagar. The visit aimed to extend learning beyond the classroom and provide students with an opportunity to share their knowledge, interact with peers, and experience a diverse school environment.
As part of the outreach, students showcased a variety of Teaching–Learning Materials (TLMs) created by them. These included engaging resources on multiplication, division, place value, and other mathematical concepts designed to make learning more interactive for the host school students.
In addition, several students presented a role play on healthy habits, spreading awareness about the importance of hygiene and daily wellness practices. Some students demonstrated how to solve Rubik’s cubes, while others taught origami art, encouraging creativity and handson learning.
A group of students also took the initiative to highlight environmental responsibility. They demonstrated how to segregate dry and wet waste and creatively showcased ways to reuse waste plastic bottles by turning them into decorative art pieces. Their efforts emphasized sustainability and the importance of mindful waste management.
The outreach visit provided a rich platform for collaboration, sharing, and mutual learning. It was an enriching experience for all students, helping them build confidence, empathy, and a deeper understanding of community connections.

Student Led Conference: A Day of Ownership and Growth
The school conducted a Student Led Conference (SLC) for Grade 1 to 5 students, a special event designed to empower students by giving them the opportunity to take charge of their own learning. A Student Led Conference provides a platform where students confidently present their learning journey, achievements, goals, and classroom experiences to their parents.
Parents were warmly invited to attend the conference to support and encourage their children. Their enthusiastic participation added great energy to the event. Throughout the conference, students led their parents through a variety of activities, showcasing their skills, creativity, and progress across different subjects.

Rasbihari International School celebrated the Senior KG Graduation Day 2025–26 with immense pride, joy, and warmth. The ceremony beautifully showcased the holistic development of the young learners and the remarkable milestones they achieved during their foundational years.
The event began with a gracious welcome extended to the students, proud parents, and grandparents. The little graduates walked into the venue with confidence, accompanied by their class teachers, and were greeted with enthusiastic applause that filled the hall with excitement and emotion.
Senior kg students presented a charming song and dance act, reflecting their rhythm, expression and the confidence they gained through the year’s learning experiences.
The highlight of the evening was the Graduation Felicitation Ceremony, during which each Senior KG student was awarded a graduation certificate. With enthusiasm and sincerity, the children took the Graduation Oath, pledging to move forward with curiosity, kindness, and a sense of responsibility as they step into the next phase of their educational journey.
Adding a special emotional touch was a thoughtfully curated PPT presentation featuring individual video clips of every child. These videos captured heartwarming moments from classroom activities, learning engagements, and playful interactions—turning the celebration into a treasured memory for parents and students alike.

Growing with Gratitude: Grade 3 Students Explore Kindness and Appreciation
A gratitude session was conducted at Rasbihari International School for grade 3 students to help them understand the importance of saying “thank you” and appreciating the people around them. The session began with a short emotional check-in, where the students were asked simple questions such as how they were feeling and who helped them in the morning. This activity created a friendly and comfortable environment, encouraging students to reflect on the kindness they receive every day.
During the activity, students enthusiastically created “Thank You” cards for someone special in their lives, such as parents, teachers, friends, or helpers. The creativity and thoughtfulness shown in the cards reflected the students’ understanding of appreciation and kindness. This was followed by a Gratitude Circle Time, where students sat together and shared one person or thing; they were grateful for, building a sense of connection and positivity among them.
The session concluded with a meaningful Gratitude Jar activity. Students wrote or drew something they were thankful for and placed it in the jar. In the reflection discussion, they shared how it felt to express gratitude and talked about how they can practice gratitude every day. The session ended on a joyful note, reminding students that expressing gratitude can spread happiness and strengthen relationships.
