The Department of Mechanical Engineering, SITRC Nashik, successfully organized an industrial visit to Shri Krishna Gears Pvt. Ltd., Nashik, for SY students on 13 February 2026.

The visit offered hands-on exposure to gear manufacturing processes, including cutting, shaping, hobbing, heat treatment, and quality inspection—bridging classroom learning with real-world industrial practices.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the management and technical team of Shri Krishna Gears Pvt. Ltd. for their valuable guidance and support. Such industry interactions play a vital role in shaping industry-ready engineers.

An MoU with Infinite Graphix Technology Pvt. Ltd., Nashik has opened new doors of opportunity for our students. As part of the scholarship program and campus drive, congratulations to Jayesh Balkrishna Sharma and Shruti Sarojkumar Wagh for being shortlisted.

Each selected candidate has been awarded an educational scholarship of ₹62,000 in the form of advanced software training in Mechanical Product Design, with a total scholarship value of ₹1,24,000.

SAFE INDIA TIFAN 2026 at Sandip Foundation!

Phase 2, consisting of the Proof of Concept (POC) round of SAFE INDIA TIFAN 2026, was conducted by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sandip Foundation’s Sandip Institute of Technology and Research Centre (SITRC).

Students from Nashik, Ahilya Nagar, Jalgaon, Nanded, Amravati, and Indore participated in the competition. Team-wise concepts of an Automated Multi-vegetable Transplanter were showcased in this phase.
