Aaradhya, Varun upset seeds at MSLTA Ramesh Desai Memorial under 12 Sub-Junior Tennis Nationals

Mumbai, February 21 Unseeded Aaradhya Mhasde of Maharashtra upset sixth seeded Heet Kandoriya 6-1, 6-1 qualifier Varun Vijaykumar of Tamil Nadu upset eighth seeded Yashwin Dahiya of Haryana 6-1, 7-5 in the opening round of the 16th MSLTA Ramesh Desai Memorial Junior Tennis Nationals for Boys and Girls under 12 which is being hosted by the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) at the G. A. Ranade Tennis complex.

Niwec Tennis Academy's(NTA) trainee Aaradhya Mhasde has won his first Under-12 National level Championship title at AITA TALENT SERIES 3 (U-12) TENNIS
TOURNAMENT taken place in Vadodara on 12th to 14th April 2021 which was just after his quaterfinal performance in Under-12 Championship series taken place in Ahmedabad where he lost a close fought match against India number 15 Dhron Suresh 1-6/6-7(4-7).

His route to victory was as follows -

Aaradhya is training at the Niwec Tennis Academy sponsored by Babolat and sportssquare under the coaching team lead by professional tennis players Ajinkya Bachhav(Spain) and Apurva Rokade(Mumbai) who have both played at International level and National level respectively, this team consists of Nandu Aswale, Manoj Potinde, Sharad Lahange and Datta Kadale as assistants.
