As part of their enriching visit to Vienna, our student delegation from Ashoka Group of Schools, Nashik had the extraordinary honour of meeting Herta Margarete Habsburg at the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) on 24th May.

Representing India with pride, our students captivated the audience with two inspiring performances—one celebrating Unity, Peace & Togetherness, and another showcasing a creative fusion of Indian Classical dance and Despacito. Their talent, confidence, and cultural expression beautifully reflected India’s rich heritage on an international platform.

Her Excellency applauded the students’ artistry and recognised their academic and practical efforts towards Sustainable Peace and Cultural Diplomacy. She also shared a powerful message on the importance of cultural bridges in bringing people and nations together for a harmonious future.

The memorable interaction concluded with each student receiving a personally signed autograph and lapel pin from Her Excellency—tokens that our young ambassadors will treasure for years to come.

Our students’ visit to United Nations Vienna and their interactions with global leaders were far more than an international educational tour. They provided a unique opportunity to witness diplomacy, cultural exchange, and global citizenship in action.

Experiences like these empower young minds to think globally, communicate confidently, appreciate diverse cultures, and understand the role they can play in creating a better tomorrow.

We are immensely proud of our young ambassadors for representing India and Ashoka with grace, confidence, and distinction.

An incredible milestone for Ashoka Group of Schools youth diplomacy! Recently, our delegation of Indian students had the distinct honor of participating in a profound and inspiring session with President Rainhard and Secretary General Gorge of the historical legacy-PanEuropa organization.

With a rich legacy spanning over a century, PanEuropa has been a foundational pillar working toward European Union unification and steadfastly supporting global peacebuilding activities.

During our interaction, President Rainhard and Secretary General Gorge shared invaluable insights into the complex history and evolution of EU unification, and current diplomatic alignments, structural developments, and peacebuilding efforts critical to the region. They also explored how youth from nations like India can engage with and learn from international peace frameworks.

Connecting with leaders who have spent decades fostering harmony reminded us that peace isn’t just the absence of conflict—it is an active, ongoing pursuit that requires global dialogue and mutual understanding. A heartfelt thank you to the leadership at PanEuropa for their warm welcome, their wisdom, and their commitment to shaping the next generation of global citizens. 🇮🇳 🇪🇺
