The site visits for ME first year students under the subject Structural Design of Foundation were successfully completed at Crystal Tower, Narayangaon, where they studied deep foundation systems and gained valuable practical knowledge under the guidance of Mr. Jadhav. Additionally, the visit to the eco-friendly building and dome structure at Hivare provided insights into sustainable construction features such as exposed brick masonry, arched openings, sloping tiled roofing, and a well-planned landscape with a central fountain. Furthermore, the office visit to Borhade Architecture, Narayangaon offered practical exposure to structural design using software like ETABS, ANSYS, and STAAD, enhancing students’ understanding of modern structural analysis and design techniques.

We sincerely thank the plant manager Mrs. Smita Mam and staff of the Plant for giving the opportunity to visit the Treatment Plant .The industrial visit was very informative and helped students to understand the practical working of Sewage treatment plant and their processes.We appreciate their time, guidance, and detailed explanation of the plant.

नारायणगांव (वार्ताहर) - जयहिंद शैक्षणिक संकुलाचे संस्थापक अध्यक्ष शिवनेर भूषण स्व. तात्यासाहेब गुंजाळ यांच्या पाचव्या पुण्यस्मरण दिनानिमित्त जयहिंद कॉलेज ऑफ इंजिनिअरींग,कुरण येथे सावित्रीबाई फुले पुणे विद्यापीठांतर्गत राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना जयहिंद अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालय,जयहिंद पॉलीटेक्निक,जयहिंद फार्मसी कॉलेज,जयहिंद एमबीए कॉलेज व शिवनेरी ब्लड सेंटर मंचर यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने आयोजित रक्तदान शिबीरात १५३ रक्तदात्यांनी रक्तदान केले.या शिबिराचे उद्घाटन संस्थेचे अध्यक्ष जितेंद्र शेठ गुंजाळ, शिवनेरी रक्तपेढीचे सर्वेसर्वा चंद्रभान वाघ यांच्या हस्ते झाले. यावेळी संकुलाच्या संचालिका डॉ शुभांगी गुंजाळ,अंजली गुंजाळ,मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी डॉ डी एस गल्ले, प्राचार्य डॉ डी जे गरकल, प्राचार्य डॉ टी एस पाचपुते, प्राचार्य स्वप्निल पोखरकर,प्राचार्य व्ही एस थिगळे,प्राचार्य सुभाष आंद्रे, त्याचप्रमाणे शिवनेरी रक्तपेढी मंचरचे सर्व पदाधिकारी व सर्व कर्मचारी उपस्थित होते. याप्रसंगी सर्व शिक्षक शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारी आणि विद्यार्थ्यांनी मोठ्या प्रमाणात सहभाग घेऊन शिबिर यशस्वी केले अशी माहिती राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना अधिकारी प्रा. गाडेकर आर ए यांनी दिली. शिबिराचे नियोजन प्रा. गाडेकर आर ए आणि प्रा. पटाईत एस बी यांनी केले. छायांकन आणि दृश्यफीतिचे काम प्रा.सागर रसाळ यांनी केले.

On 26th September 2025, an industrial visit was conducted for Third Year (TE) and Final Year (BE) Civil Engineering students, covering four significant sites: the Water Treatment Plant at Manchar, Steel Structure site at Bharadi, Gantry Girder installation at Manchar, and the Hot Mix Plant at Nirgudsar. At the Water Treatment Plant, students were introduced to the complete process of water purification, including aeration, coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection, gaining insight into the working of municipal water supply systems. At Bharadi, Mr. Wadge Yegesh explained the fabrication and er****on of steel structures, covering components such as columns, beams, bracings, base plates, and welded/bolted joints used in industrial construction. At the Manchar site, Mr. Chandrakant Gawari guided students through the gantry girder installation process, highlighting its structural importance in supporting overhead cranes and explaining details of load transfer, bearing systems, and alignment techniques. Lastly, at Nirgudsar, Mr. Rajendra Walse demonstrated the working of the Hot Mix Plant, explaining the gradation of aggregates, functioning of key components like cold bins, drying drum, bitumen tanks, and mixing unit, and the overall process of preparing Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) for road construction. These combined visits provided students with practical exposure to critical domains of civil engineering, including environmental engineering, structural steel design, highway engineering, and industrial construction, effectively connecting classroom theory with on-site applications.
