# Why is "Goodnight" written as a single word but 'Good morning' as two separate words ?

Answer -- Actually "Good night" (the wish) is always written as two words . It's only as a noun or adjective that is possibly written as one word ; " He said his goodnight to her . "He gave her a goodnight kiss .
