आज ब्लू बैल्स स्कूल के प्रांगण में मातृ दिवस मनाया गया जिसमें अतिथि के रूप में श्रीमती हेमा मिश्रा , श्रीमती सविंदर बख्शी व श्रीमती ईशा टंडन ने शिरकत की। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ स्कूल के वाइस प्रिंसिपल श्री गुलशन कुमार मेहता के द्वारा आए अतिथिगण व सभी माताओं का अभिनंदन अपने शब्दों से किया । सर्वप्रथम उन्होंने देश के उन सपूतों की माताओं को नमन किया जिनके द्वारा हम आज स्वतंत्र भारत में सांस ले पा रहे हैं , फिर उन्होंने उन माताओं को प्रणाम किया जिनके बच्चे आज भी सरहद पर तैनात हैं और हमारे देश की रक्षा कर रहे हैं। आखिर में उन्होंने अपनी माता को याद किया जिन्होंने वट वृक्ष रूपी ब्लू बैल्स स्कूल की स्थापना की जिसका हज़ारों बच्चों ने लाभ उठाया और आगे भी उठाते रहेंगे । उन्होंने कहा की माँ शब्द बहुत छोटा है परंतु इसमें पूरी दुनिया समाई हुई है। मां के बिना घर ओर पूरे संसार का कोई भी कार्य पूर्ण नहीं हो सकता ।
नन्हे मुन्ने बच्चों ने नृत्य के द्वारा माँ के प्रति अपनी भावनाएं प्रस्तुत की और बहुत से खेलों द्वारा माताओ का मनोरंजन किया गया व इनाम दे कर सम्मानित किया गया।
