​Today, our school Shivalik International Public School campus radiated with patriotic fervor as we gathered to celebrate Independence Day.
​The morning began with a heartfelt tribute to our legendary freedom fighters. Through poignant cultural performances, students honored the monumental sacrifices and unyielding courage of those who secured our nation's freedom.
​The celebration was graced by the esteemed members of the School Management, whose presence underscored our shared commitment to integrity, unity, and national service.
​In an inspiring address, our respected Principal reminded the student body of the true essence of liberty:
​"Independence is a daily commitment to excellence and empathy. Our students must honor the legacy of our martyrs by striving to build an enlightened, progressive society."
​The event concluded with the solemn unfurling of the National Flag and a resonant rendition of the National Anthem, inspiring all present to cherish our freedom and contribute meaningfully to the nation's future.

“Empowering Young Minds for a Healthy, Addiction-Free India”

Shivalik International Public School organised an impactful Nasha Mukt Bharat Awareness Programme with the noble objective of sensitising students towards the detrimental consequences of substance abuse and inspiring them to embrace a healthy, disciplined, and addiction-free lifestyle.

The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Brahma Kumaris Centres and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of nearly fourteen hundred students of the school. The initiative resonated strongly with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for a Nasha Mukt Bharat, wherein the youth play a pivotal role in building a healthier, stronger, and more responsible nation.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome to the representatives of the Brahma Kumaris Centres, followed by an enlightening and thought-provoking awareness session. The resource persons effectively highlighted the physical, psychological, social, and academic repercussions of substance addiction. Through meaningful interactions and motivational discourse, students were encouraged to recognise the importance of self-discipline, positive choices, emotional resilience, and responsible living.

The programme also emphasised that the fight against addiction is not merely an individual responsibility but a collective societal commitment. Students were motivated to become ambassadors of awareness, spreading the message of sobriety and encouraging their peers, families, and communities to remain steadfast in their resolve against substance abuse.

The participation of fourteen hundred students transformed the programme into a powerful collective expression of determination and social responsibility. The atmosphere was imbued with enthusiasm, awareness, and a strong sense of commitment towards creating an addiction-free society.

The programme concluded with a pledge to reject intoxicating substances and promote a healthy and purposeful way of life. The initiative served as a significant step towards nurturing responsible citizens and reinforcing the school’s commitment to the holistic development and well-being of its students.

Seminar on *Mental Health and Youth Wellness* Organised at Shivalik International Public School

To promote emotional well-being and psychological resilience among teenagers, Shivalik International Public School, Naraingarh, hosted an insightful seminar titled "Mental Health and Wellness Among Students."
​The chief guest and keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Vinay Gupta, eminent Psychologist and Counsellor from Government Hospital, Kaithal.
​Addressing the gathering, Dr. Vinay Gupta shed light on sensitive issues affecting today’s youth, including behavioral aggression, abusive tendencies, and the complexities surrounding early sexual relationships among school-aged students. He emphasized open communication, early psychological counseling, and self-regulation as crucial steps to help teenagers navigate emotional turbulence effectively.
​Principal Ms. Isha Sharma shared key statistical insights regarding student mental health, reiterating the school’s dedication to providing a supportive and safe learning environment.
