As per CBSE guidelines, we successfully concluded our _Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp_ with a special online session designed to make language learning joyful. To break the monotony of screen time and ease academic stress, our students participated in lively ‘Antakshari’ and ‘Tongue Twister’ competitions.

This unique initiative brought multiple benefits:

*CBSE Summer Bhasha Camp 2026 – Day 5 Update*

Language is not just a medium of communication; it is the soul of our culture and history. Carrying this spirit forward, Day 5 of the CBSE Summer Bhasha Camp at Mount Carmel International School focused on cinema as a powerful medium to connect with our past.

Students were shown an online video that portrayed and explained the *Jallianwala Bagh massacre*. The screening filled our students with a deep sense of patriotism and gave them valuable insight into our rich culture and heritage.

Through the film, students learned about the immense sacrifices made by our freedom fighters like *Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Lala Lajpat Rai and Sardar Udham Singh* who stood fearless during the most difficult times to protect our nation. The session helped them understand the true value of freedom and the courage that shaped India’s history.

Day 4 of the Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp turned into a flavorful journey through Punjab. Our young explorers didn’t just learn about the state’s wide range of traditional cuisines. They rolled up their sleeves and experienced it firsthand by making buttermilk the traditional way.

Using wooden churners and time-honored techniques, students worked together to prepare fresh buttermilk from scratch. The activity was more than just cooking. It was a lesson in culture, teamwork, and self-reliance. And the best part? They got to beat the summer heat by drinking what they made with their own hands.

This hands-on session brought classroom learning to life, connecting students with India’s culinary heritage while building real-world skills and unforgettable memories.

Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp 🏕️
Day – 3 Highlights
🎵 Music Activity (Classical & Instrumental Music)
The day began with the sacred Gayatri Mantra. Students were introduced to the world of Classical Music and learned about various musical instruments. They also enjoyed singing bhajans and gained knowledge about the rich tradition of Indian Folk Music.

🎨 Painting Activity
Students explored their creativity through painting using water colours and oil pastels. They learned how to draw a beautiful landscape painting and enjoyed a fun art activity where they created trees with the help of balloons.

💃 Folk Dance Activity
The students enthusiastically participated in the Punjabi Folk Dance session. They learned the basic steps of Bhangra and Giddha, showcasing their energy and excitement. The lively session was enjoyed by all and helped students connect with India’s vibrant cultural heritage.

Our young explorers embarked on an exciting virtual journey to the Pink City, Jaipur. Through this interactive session, students virtually visited famous palaces, temples, and vibrant street markets of Jaipur. They learned about the city’s rich culture, heritage, traditional cuisine, and local lifestyle while practicing real-life communication and navigation skills.

The activity provided a wonderful opportunity for students to experience the beauty and diversity of India from their classroom, making learning both fun and meaningful.

*Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp: Day 1 Highlights*
The first day of Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp students was dedicated to the Punjabi language. Students were introduced to basic _Punjabi greetings_ and the _Punjabi Varnamala_.
