EXHIBITION CUM FAIR: INCUBATION FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP
The Exhibition cm Fair was held on 21/01/2025 at the college campus, Chandidas Mahavidyalaya, Khujutipara, Birbhum. Jointly organised by the Art and Craft Club, Food Club and Photography Club of the college, the fair was organised to inspire entrepreneurial spirit among the young minds. The participation was overwhelmingly positive with students from all the departments putting up stalls displaying their creativity and talent. The departments that put up stalls included Chemistry, Sanskrit, Geography, History, Political Science, English, Philosophy, Eco Club etc. There were many interesting stalls put up such as the ones displaying hand made earrings, necklaces, bangles, hand embroidered hoops and hand painted bags. The students also displayed their culinary skills by offering food items such as chicken and veg momo, chicken pakora, puchka, traditional sweets such as pithe, halwa puri and sweet potato rajbhog and also many different types of salads. There was also a photography exhibition held displaying photographs taken by students of different departments of the college. The outcome of the program was greatly positive as it exposed the students to go beyond the classroom and explore creativity and business opportunities within the security of the campus.
