Report on Ambedkar Birth Anniversary Celebrations and Blood Donation Camp

The birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our college on April 14. The event was organized to honor the remarkable contributions of Dr. B
R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Constitution of India, and to spread awareness about equality, social justice, and education.
The program began in the college auditorium with the floral tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s portrait by the Principal, faculty members, and student representatives. The Principal Dr. N. Shashikala Madam delivered an inspiring speech highlighting Dr. Ambedkar’s life, his struggles against social discrimination, and his significant role in shaping modern India.
As part of the celebrations, the Indian Red Cross Society in collaboration with the college Red Cross unit organized a Blood Donation Camp on the campus. A team of medical professionals supervised the camp and ensured that all health and safety procedures were followed.

Before the donation process, doctors conducted basic health check-ups including blood pressure, hemoglobin level, and general fitness of the donors. Eligible students, faculty members, and staff voluntarily participated in the noble cause. Many students enthusiastically came forward to donate blood, demonstrating their sense of social responsibility and compassion.

The blood donation camp was a great success as a large number of donors participated and several units of blood were collected, which will help save many lives in hospitals and emergency situations. Donors were provided with refreshments and appreciation certificates for their valuable contribution.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Red Cross coordinator, Dr. V Ramesh Lecturer in Physics who expressed gratitude to the medical team, volunteers, and participants for making the program meaningful and successful. The celebration of Ambedkar Birth Anniversary along with the blood donation camp served as a reminder of the importance of humanity, service, and equality in society.

Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, 2023Under the auspices of the Women Empowerment Cell of PSC and KVSC Government College, International Women’s Day was celebrated. The program was presided over by the college Principal, Dr. N. Shashikala. ICDS staff members Noorjahan and Jayalakshmamma also participated in the event.
During the program, speeches were delivered on women’s empowerment, equal rights, and the crucial role of women in the development of society. It was highlighted that women are achieving great success in all fields. Examples of inspiring women such as Droupadi Murmu, space scientist Kalpana Chawla, and international badminton player P. V. Sindhu were mentioned to showcase the achievements of women. The contributions, sacrifices, and successes of women were appreciated, and awareness about women’s empowerment was spread enthusiastically through the program.
On this occasion, the teachers honored the Principal Madam and expressed their gratitude for successfully organizing the event. Competitions were conducted for the students as part of the celebration, and prizes were awarded to the winners.
The college principal, teaching staff, and a large number of students participated in this program.

NRC LEVEL JOB DRIVE AT PSC & KVSC GOVT.COLLEGE, NANDYAL

PSC & KVSC Government College, Nandyal successfully conducted an NRC-level Job Drive. A total of 106 students were selected for placements in various companies from the colleges under the NRC. Among them, 54 students from our NRC college secured placements in different companies. SEBI Invester Awareness Training program.
The Department of Commerce conducted SEBI Invester Awareness Training program for all classes in our college.Nearly 100 students and 5 faculty attended the program. In her opening remarks Principal madam addressed the students to inculcate the habits of learning in this graduation level for their upgradation and this kind of Financial literacy awareness is must for every one. Through this kind of Programs, our Govt and Commissionerate of Collegiate Education helping in learning to the Students.
