Podar International School, conducted a special assembly on the theme “Golden Rules”, presented by the enthusiastic students of Grade VI. The assembly highlighted the importance of following simple yet meaningful rules that help students develop discipline, responsibility, respect, kindness, and positive classroom habits.
The assembly commenced with the morning prayer, followed by an informative and engaging speech by the students, who presented the Golden Rules to be followed in everyday school life: come on time, prepare for class, keep your eyes on the board, raise your hand before speaking, be respectful and kind, say “please” and “thank you,” follow instructions, clean up and help out, and always try your best while having fun.

The Vice Soft Board Captain of the School also delivered an inspiring speech, emphasising how these simple rules can create a positive, respectful, organised, and joyful learning environment. The assembly encouraged students to understand that good habits and respectful behaviour are essential not only for academic success but also for becoming responsible and confident individuals.

We are thrilled to announce that our students have made us immensely proud by securing top positions in the State Merit List of the Secondary Scholarship Examination 2025–26.
From Grade V, Mast. Pranav Devidas Deshmukh secured an outstanding 15th rank, while Mast. Soham Vitthal Arale achieved an impressive 17th rank. From Grade IV, Mast. Sarvadnya Venkat Hatte secured 18th rank, Miss. Pranjal Vikas Kapate achieved 20th rank, and Miss. Dhanashree Raju Telang secured 22nd rank.

In recognition of their exceptional achievements, our students were honoured during the Independence Day celebrations held at the District Collector’s Office, Nanded. The spirit of Independence Day came alive at Podar International School, , as our students celebrated the occasion with immense pride, joy, and respect for the nation. Independence Day is celebrated on 15th August to commemorate India’s independence from British rule in 1947. It reminds us to honour the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and uphold the values of freedom, unity, and responsibility.
The celebration commenced with the ceremonial flag hoisting, followed by the singing of the Vande Mataram Song, State Song & National Anthem. Students enthusiastically participated in a variety of activities and performances, including an inspiring skit, graceful patriotic dances, and heartfelt patriotic speeches that reflected their love and respect for the nation. Under the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign initiated by the Central and State Governments, Podar International School, enthusiastically participated in a special awareness rally. Students proudly carried the National Flag and took part in the rally to spread the message of patriotism, national unity, and respect for the Tiranga. The school also organised a rally in the area surrounding the campus, encouraging members of the community to participate in the campaign and honour the National Flag.
As part of the initiative, the school also conducted a “Letter to Our Soldiers” activity, providing students with an opportunity to express their gratitude, respect, and heartfelt appreciation for the brave soldiers who safeguard our nation.
