Observed annually on April 24th, National Panchayati Raj Day commemorates the 73rd Constitutional Amendment Act (1992), which came into effect in 1993 and granted constitutional status to local self-governance. This landmark reform marked a significant step toward decentralization, empowering villages to take charge of their own social, economic, and infrastructural development.

Students of Grade 8 actively participated by presenting the Morning Prayer, Pledge, News, and an engaging Quiz. The assembly was further enriched by an insightful speech that beautifully highlighted the importance of Panchayati Raj in strengthening democracy at the grassroots level.

Podar International School, successfully conducted an exciting House Competition – “The Big Pitch-Off: One Stage. One Idea. One Minute” under the inspiring theme “Mind to Mic – Where Thoughts Find a Voice.”

We all have ideas—small sparks that can grow into meaningful solutions. When shared, these ideas gain strength and have the power to create a positive impact within a community. With this belief, The Big Pitch-Off provided students with a dynamic platform to confidently present their creativity and innovative thinking.

The competition aimed not only to encourage students to express their ideas but also to articulate their value, inspire others, and learn through attentive listening and constructive feedback. This enriching experience helped students develop clarity of thought, confidence in public speaking, and respect for diverse perspectives.

Students enthusiastically participated, representing their respective houses and showcasing their unique ideas with great energy and confidence, making the event truly engaging and inspiring.

Our respected Vice Principal, Mr. Pravin Somvanshi, along with the leadership team, guided the participants and served as judges, offering valuable insights and encouragement.
