On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day celebration held at the school on 15th August 2026, the Namthang Staff Team (NST), led by the respected Principal Madam, felicitated Hon’ble MLA Shri Sanjeet Kharel and Madam Asha Kharel in recognition of their tremendous support, encouragement, and contribution towards the development and progress of the school.
The felicitation was a heartfelt gesture of gratitude from the school community for their continued support and encouragement towards various school activities and initiatives. Their valuable contribution and positive association with the school have been a great source of motivation for the staff and students.

A Heartfelt Token of Appreciation

The IDCC Namthang presented a token of appreciation to PM SHRI Bal Krishna Kasaju Govt. SSS Namthang in recognition of the school’s valuable support during the 80th Independence Day Celebration 2026.
The IDCC Committee expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the school for providing access to the School Playground, Auditorium Hall, Mid-Day Meal Kitchen, Dining Hall, classrooms, and other facilities, which contributed significantly to the smooth and successful conduct of various programmes.

“Connect to Earth”

Under the “Connect to Earth” initiative, the non-teaching fraternity of PM SHRI Bal Krishna Kasaju Govt. SSS Namthang has been actively involved in cultivating cucumbers, maize and various seasonal vegetables within the school premises. The initiative promotes a connection with nature while encouraging sustainable practices and a sense of responsibility towards the environment.

The produce harvested from the school garden is either utilized for the Mid-Day Meal (MDM) programme or shared among staff and students during the lunch break. This initiative not only provides fresh produce but also promotes teamwork, healthy eating, and environmental awareness among the school community.

Our school celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on 15th August 2026.

The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag by our respected Principal Ma’am, followed by the National Anthem. The programme was attended by all the staff members and students, who participated with pride and enthusiasm.

The celebration reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity and respect for our nation. The occasion reminded everyone of the values of freedom, responsibility and our duty towards the country.

On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day Celebration 2026, our talented students proudly participated in the Independence Day Parade and Dance Competition and emerged 1st in both competitions!
Their discipline, dedication, teamwork and vibrant spirit have once again brought immense pride to our school.
Adding to the pride of the day, our School Pipe Band also participated in the Independence Day Parade and Band Display, delivering a spectacular and captivating performance that won the hearts of the audience.

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, our school came together to celebrate the spirit of patriotism and pride for our National Flag. The Tiranga was proudly unfurled in all three sections of the school.
