Sikkim Sardar Patel University celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and respect on 5 September 2026, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the renowned philosopher, educationist, and former President of India.
The celebration was organised to honour the invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping the academic, intellectual, and personal development of students. The programme brought together the university leadership, faculty members, staff, and students in an atmosphere of respect, appreciation, and celebration.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the dignitaries, faculty members, and students. The celebration featured cultural performances, speeches, felicitation of teachers, and various activities presented by the students as a mark of gratitude towards their teachers.
