MANJUSRI PUBLIC SCHOOL CELEBRATES THE 80TH INDEPENDENCE DAY AND HONORS DIRECTOR’S BIRTHDAY AT TEMI CAMPUS
MPS celebrated the 80th Independence Day with immense patriotic fervor, cultural pride, and community spirit. The day’s solemnity began with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem.
The celebration featured a vibrant cultural program organized by the History Club –Timekeepers of Manjusri, the Drama Club, and the Event team.
The event showcased impressive group songs, dance performances, quiz and an impactful theatrical skit. The skit delivered a powerful message, emphasizing that the development and progress of the nation rest upon its citizens. It urged young learners to uphold the core ideals of the nation's founding fathers by striving to become responsible, active, and model citizens.
The day held dual significance for the MPS community as the school also celebrated the birthday of our Director Mr. Loday Chungyalpa with great enthusiasm. Students and faculty joined together to extend their heartfelt wishes, expressing deep gratitude for his leadership, vision, and ongoing dedication to the institution.
Following the main assembly and cultural proceedings, students returned to their classrooms where they enjoyed special refreshments while viewing an educational movie. The memorable day concluded on a creative note with a school-wide art competition, where students showcased their artistic talents and reflected the spirit of Freedom through their artwork.
