A Grand Celebration of Independence Day -2026
Cambridge International School, Nakodar, celebrated the Independence Day of India with immense fervour, patriotic spirit and a deep sense of unity and pride. This year’s celebration was even more special as the school proudly marked 10 glorious years of excellence in the field of education in Nakodar.
To commemorate this remarkable milestone, the celebrations unfolded over two memorable days, bringing together the spirit of education, culture, patriotism and togetherness.
The festivities began with an exciting Inter-School Fest - Jashn -E - Azadi which witnessed enthusiastic participation from neighbouring schools and provided students with a vibrant platform to showcase their talent, creativity and competitive spirit.
This was followed by the celebration of Independence Day adding vibrant and colourful dimension to the celebrations.
The grand Independence Day celebration on 15th August commenced with the solemn and proud Flag Hoisting Ceremony, filling the campus with a profound sense of patriotism. The National Flag fluttered proudly depicting the sacrifices of our freedom fighters .
The flag hoisting was followed by an March Past, reflecting discipline, confidence and national pride. The campus then came alive with a plethora of vibrant presentations, including patriotic dances, melodious musical performances, soulful songs and devotional renditions, each reflecting the love and respect we hold for our nation.
Adding a special charm to the celebration, students arrived dressed as great freedom fighters and national heroes, bringing history to life and reminding everyone of the courage, sacrifice and determination that paved the way for India’s freedom.
The entire school resonated with the spirit of Independence, patriotism and national pride. Every performance, every expression and every moment beautifully reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing not just academically accomplished students, but also responsible, compassionate and patriotic citizens of tomorrow.
As we celebrate India’s Independence Day and 10 years of excellence of Cambridge International School, Nakodar, we look back with gratitude and move forward with renewed determination—to continue empowering young minds, nurturing values and contributing meaningfully to the progress of our nation.
