St. Jude's Convent School St. Jude's Convent School was started by the diocese of Jallandhar in 1976.His Excellency Rt.Rev.Dr.

The school had a very humble beginning in a rented building in Guordian Mohalla in Nakodar Town and a couple of classrooms were setup in tents.The first group of sisters arrive on 2nd of july,1976.In the absence of officially appointed Sr.Henry,who came a few days later, Sr.Leoba, Pricipal of Assumption Convent School,Abohar assisted Rev.Fr.Mathew to begin the School.The other members of staff were Mother Celestine and Sr.Ancilin
