🌱✨ Kaushal Bodh Activity – Plantation & Plant Nursery Setup (Classes 6-8th) ✨🌱

As part of the Kaushal Bodh vocational curriculum introduced by CBSE, students of Classes 6–8th at SKPS engaged in a hands-on activity of plantation and plant nursery setup. 🌿

Through this experiential learning initiative, students developed practical skills, environmental sensitivity, and an understanding of sustainable practices.

The International Day for Biological Diversity, observed on May 22, is a United Nations-sanctioned day dedicated to promoting awareness and understanding of biodiversity issues. This day underscores the critical role biodiversity plays in sustaining the natural systems that provide food, water, and air. It also highlights the threats to biodiversity, such as habitat destruction, climate change, pollution, and overexploitation of resources. By celebrating this day, the international community aims to encourage actions that protect and restore biological diversity, ensuring a sustainable and resilient future for all life on Earth.

In an effort to promote civic engagement and democratic participation among its students SKPS organised, Model Matdan, a simulation of democratic elections.

Students were introduced to fundamentals of democratic governance, electoral systems, and the role of citizens in sharping their country.

We are happy to announce the results of CBSE Grade 10 & 12 for the academic session 2023-24.

FLIP ARROW EXPERIMENT

The experiment demonstrated the fascinating phenomenon of refraction and its effects on the apparent direction of the flip arrow. Students observed that when the arrow was viewed from above the container, its direction appeared unchanged. However, when viewed from the side, the arrow appeared to bend or flip direction due to the refraction of light as it passed through the water. This observation highlights the importance of understanding how light behaves when it travels through different mediums. By exploring the principles of refraction in this hands-on experiment, students gained valuable insights into the interaction between light and matter.
