Gurukul Global School celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on 15th August 2026. The celebration brought together the school management, teachers and students to honour the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and celebrate the values of unity, freedom and national pride.
The programme commenced with the flag hoisting by the School Secretary, Mr. Ram Nath Shaw, followed by the National Anthem. The unfurling of the Tricolour filled the entire school campus with a sense of pride and patriotism.
The School Secretary, Mr. Ram Nath Shaw, addressed the gathering and shared an inspiring message on the responsibilities of citizens towards the nation. This was followed by an inspiring speech by the School Principal, Mr. Ajitesh Gupta, who highlighted the importance of discipline, education, unity and responsible citizenship in building a stronger India.
The cultural programme began with a melodious chorus song presented by the Primary Section, creating a vibrant patriotic atmosphere. The young learners then captivated the audience with a graceful dance performance by the Primary Section.
The celebrations continued with energetic and colourful dance performances by the Middle School students, followed by an impressive performance by the Secondary Section, showcasing the talent, confidence and enthusiasm of the students.
Adding a special touch to the celebration, the teachers of Gurukul Global School presented a chorus song, conveying a beautiful message of patriotism and love for the nation.
The programme also included the Prize Distribution Ceremony for the Fancy Dress Competition held during the session 2025–2026. The deserving students were felicitated for their creativity, confidence and outstanding performances.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by the Senior Coordinator, Mr. Jaydip Das, who expressed gratitude to the School Secretary, Principal, teachers, students and everyone who contributed to making the Independence Day celebration a memorable and successful occasion.
The entire programme reflected the spirit of unity, patriotism and pride in our nation, leaving everyone with renewed inspiration to contribute positively towards the progress and development of India.
