Former Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh Shri Satya Gopal Ji Appreciates ASVS’ Three Decades of Educational Service in Arunachal Pradesh at ASVS AGM 2026

The Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti (ASVS) successfully organised its Annual General Body Meeting 2026 at the ASVS Training Centre, Pachin Colony, Naharlagun, on 16 August 2026.

The programme was graced by Shri Satya Gopal Ji, IAS (Retd.), Former Chief Secretary, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, as the Chief Guest and was held under the chairmanship of Shri Kaling Dai Ji, Vice President, Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti (ASVS).

The meeting was attended by Dr. Pawan Tiwari Ji, Organising Secretary, Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra; Shri Niri Chongrowju Ji, Vice President, ASVS; Shri Kamlesh Kumar Ji, Prant Pracharak, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Arunachal Pradesh; Shri Tumge Lollen Ji, Secretary, ASVS; and Shri Sukumaran K. Ji, State Coordinator, ASVS, along with Presidents and Secretaries of School Management Committees, social leaders, special invitees and well-wishers.

During the meeting, Shri Tumge Lollen Ji, Secretary, ASVS, and Shri Pawan Jain Ji, Treasurer, ASVS, presented the Activities Report for 2025–26, Audited Report for 2025–26 and Budget for 2026–27 before the General Body.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Satya Gopal Ji appreciated ASVS and Vidya Bharati for their dedicated educational service in Arunachal Pradesh over the last three decades, particularly in remote, tribal and border areas. Recalling his long association with the State, he described Arunachal Pradesh as his Karmabhoomi and praised the commitment of teachers, principals, School Management Committees and Karyakartas working in difficult areas. He emphasised that education should not remain limited to academics but should build good human beings, responsible citizens and committed nation-builders, in the spirit of “Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye.”

He also paid respect to Shri Tai Tagak Ji, Founder Member and Patron, ASVS, for his lifelong contribution to education and the welfare of children in Arunachal Pradesh. Shri Satya Gopal Ji further assured ASVS of his continued guidance and cooperation in its educational and social initiatives.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pawan Tiwari Ji appreciated Shri Satya Gopal Ji’s contribution to public service and highlighted the importance of cooperation between government and society for educational development. He informed the gathering that Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan will celebrate its Amrit Mahotsav in 2027, marking 75 years of educational service to the nation. He called for greater social participation in strengthening quality and value-based education, especially in the remote and border areas of Arunachal Pradesh.

During the programme, ASVS also felicitated achievers associated with Abotani Vidya Niketan, Pachin:

Shri Tadar Natung– Selected through APPSC as Junior Engineer (Civil), Public Works Department, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

Shri Tadar Kaje – Selected through APPSC as Junior Engineer, Public Works Department, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

Lokam Yayu– Qualified NEET 2026.

Phassang Nachum – Qualified NEET 2024.

Advocate Langku Tado – Felicitated for professional achievement and association with the Office of the Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Arunachal Pradesh.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Gyamar Kassung Ji, Joint Secretary, Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti (ASVS), who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, SMC representatives, Karyakartas, social leaders, special invitees and well-wishers for their participation and support.

📚✨ Director of Elementary Education Inaugurates Acharya Prashikshan Varg 2026 at ASVS Training Centre Pachin

🙏 The Acharya Prashikshan Varg 2026, a 10-day residential teacher training programme organised by Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti (ASVS), was inaugurated at the ASVS Training Centre, Pachin Colony, Naharlagun by Shri Tani Talom Ji, Director of Elementary Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The training is being conducted from 19–29 July 2026.

🌸 The inaugural programme was graced by Shri Nido Sakter Ji, State Project Coordinator (Pedagogy–ISSE); Shri Niri Chonggrowju Ji, Vice President, ASVS; Shri Dharmadev Brahmachari Ji, Training In-charge, Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra; Shri Tumge Lollen Ji, Secretary, ASVS; and Shri Sukumaran K Ji, State Coordinator, ASVS.

👨‍🏫 Teachers from 12 districts of Arunachal Pradesh, representing Vidya Niketans, EMRS, KGBVs, Khela Schools and Ekal Vidyalayas, including the remote areas of Longding and Vijayanagar, are participating in the training.

🎓 In his address, Shri Tani Talom Ji appreciated ASVS's contribution to quality education and highlighted the effective implementation of NEP 2020, learner-centred teaching, preservation of local languages, and value-based education. He also assured continued support for teacher training initiatives.

🏫 Following the inaugural programme, Shri Tani Talom Ji visited the ASVS Training Centre and appreciated its infrastructure, training facilities, and arrangements made for the participants.

🌱 The programme aims to strengthen teachers' professional competence and promote quality, value-based education across Arunachal Pradesh.

Gratitude for the Generous Donation of a School Vehicle

Abotani Vidya Niketan, Old Ziro run by Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti, expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Shri Hage Appa Ji, Hon’ble MLA of 17th Ziro-Hapoli Assembly Constituency, for his generous donation of a 19-seater Winger School Vehicle to the school.

The vehicle was formally handed over in the gracious presence of Shri Padi Sira Ji (ZPM, Reru), Shri Pura Pugang Ji (ZPM, Hija), Shri Niri Chongrowju Ji (Vice President, Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti), Shri Nada Buda Ji (Secretary, AVN Ziro), Shri Sukumaran K. Ji (State Coordinator, ASVS), Shri Gurudev Koli Ji (Principal, AVN Ziro), along with the teaching staff, non-teaching staff, students, and well-wishers of the institution.

This vehicle fulfills a long-pending need of the school and will greatly benefit students by providing safe, comfortable, and reliable transportation. The entire ASVS and AVN family conveys its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Hon’ble MLA Sir for his valuable support and concern for the welfare of students and the advancement of education.

During the programme, Hon’ble MLA Shri Hage Appa Ji assured his continued support and cooperation for the growth and development of the institution in the years ahead. He also emphasized the importance of social responsibility and advised students to stay away from drugs, describing them as a serious threat to society and the younger generation. He appealed to all citizens to work collectively for educational progress, social harmony, and community development.

In his address, Shri Niri Chongrowju Ji, Vice President of ASVS, expressed gratitude to Hon’ble MLA Sir and requested him to accept the role of Patron and Guardian of AVN Ziro, recognizing his commitment to education and public service.

🌟 Nischals Portable & Microscale Science Lab Inaugurated at Abotani Vidya Niketan, Naharlagun🌟

Abotani Vidya Niketan, Pachin Kamak Nagar, Naharlagun run by ArunachalShikshaVikasSamiti, proudly received the Nischals Portable & Microscale Science Lab for students of Grades I to X, marking a significant step towards strengthening experiential and activity-based science education.

The Science Lab was ceremonially inaugurated by Shri Nischal Narayanam Ji, India's youngest Chartered Accountant and the world's youngest Double Guinness World Record holder in memory, along with Shri Taba Tedir Ji, Chairman, APEDA. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Gobinda Chandra Mahanta Ji, Organising Secretary, VBABSS; Shri D. A team of Vidya Bharati functionaries had the privilege of meeting His Excellency Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik ji, PVSM, UYSM, YSM, Hon’ble Governor of Arunachal Pradesh.

The delegation comprised Shri Gobind Chandra Mahanta Ji, All India Organising Secretary, Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan (VBABSS); Dr. Pawan Tiwari Ji, Organising Secretary, Vidya Bharati North Eastern Region; Shri Tumge Lollen Ji, Secretary, ASVS and Shri Sukumaran K., State Coordinator, ASVS.

During the cordial interaction, the delegation presented the Vidya Bharati Coffee Table Book to His Excellency and held meaningful discussions on the educational development of the border areas of Arunachal Pradesh. The discussion focused on strengthening educational opportunities, preserving cultural values, and ensuring holistic development through quality education in the region.

Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti is organizing the Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra Panchpadi Adhigam Padhati Prashikshan Karyashala at the ASVS Training Centre, Pachin Colony, Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh.

The inaugural session of the Karyashala was conducted today in the gracious presence of Shri Gobinda Chandra Mahanta Ji, All India Organising Secretary, Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan; Shri Dusi Ramakrishna Rao Ji, Vice President, VBABSS; and Dr. Pawan Tiwari Ji, Organizing Secretary, Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra.

The workshop has brought together Master Trainers from all the North Eastern states under Vidya Bharati Purvottar Kshetra. The training programme aims to strengthen the Panchpadi Adhigam Padhati and enhance the quality of teaching-learning practices in Vidya Bharati institutions across the region.

The dignitaries, in their addresses, emphasized the importance of value-based education, innovative teaching methodologies, and the role of teachers in nation-building.

The Karyashala will continue with various academic sessions, practical demonstrations, and interactive discussions for the participating trainers. The programme will conclude on 30th May 2026. 🍃🌸🙏
