Tulsiramji Gaikwad Patil College of Architecture and Tulsiramji Gaikwad Patil college of Engineering and Technology in association with Bamboo Society of India, Vidharbha Chapter ,(Maharashtra Chapter) was organised one Day *BAMBOO Workshop* and learning activities for B. Arch, B. Tech (Civil Engineering) students and faculty.

Total 42 students and 10 faculty Members have participated in this workshop.

Learning outcome of this workshop
1. Advantages of bamboo as a construction material and architectural Field.
2. Properties of Bamboo like Sustainability, Strength, Flexibility and also easy to work.
3. Moisture content Calculation of Bamboo
4. Uses of Bamboo in Variety of ways like Structural framing, Roofing, Walling, and Scaffolding.

The workshop ended with interactive Q&A and Students feedback session.

“Gaikwad-Patil Group of institutions celebrated 77th Independence Day”
Gaikwad-Patil Group of Institutions celebrated 77th Independence Day. The program was graced by Hon’ble Chief Guest Grp. Capt. Basant Kumar Pande (Retd) and Guest Dr. Rajesh Joshi, in presence of Dr. Mohan Gaikwad-Patil, Chairman, GPG, Mr. Aakash Gaikwad-Patil, Vice Chairman, GPG, and all Principals, Vice Principal, All Directors, Deans, Heads of the Departments, Teaching and Non-teaching staff.
The flag hoisting ceremony was followed by
1) Felicitation of Students.
2) Release of Manual stairs and Team
3) Felicitation of Faculty.
On occasion of Independence Day Patriotic Song, Dance, and skit were performed by students followed by Tree Plantation by the hands of Hon’ble Chief Guest and Dignitaries.
The program was broadcasted live on Face book which was attended by students. GPGI family extended all possible supports to make the event successful.

On the occasion of World Heritage Day'23
Tulsiramji Gaikwad Patil college of architecture organised heritage walk to Ramtek Gad Mandir, Sindoor Baoli and Kapoor Baoli for the members of INTACH Heritage Club
Students were accompanied by Prof Vandana Khante (principal TGPCA) and Ar. Nitika S Ramani (Assistant Professor TGPCA and Co-convernor INTACH Nagpur Chapter)
Prof Khante explained the students about the architectural features of the ancient temples and baoli, and Ar Ramani briefed the students about the history and heritage
Students did detailed photographic documentation and sketching of the structures

Gaikwad Patil Group of institutions celebrated 74th Republic Day .The program was graced by Hon'ble Chief guest Ret.Col.Amod Kulkarni and Hon'ble Guest Ret.Wg Cdr Suresh Bidwaikar in presence of Dr. Mohan Gaikwad-Patil Chairman, GPG , Mr. Akash Gaikwad-Patil, Vice Chairman, GPG, Prof. Sandeep Gaikwad,Treasurer, GPGI and all Principals, Heads of the Departments, Teaching and Non teaching staff, Students and Parents. The flag unfurling ceremony was followed by Cultural presentation by the Students, Felicitation of students and Release of Annual college Magzine "Skylight" follwed by tree plantation and Inauguration of sports facilities.
GPGI group of education management extended all possible support to make the event successful.
