What does the future of sustainable energy look like when next-generation electronics becomes part of the solution? ⚡🌱

Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE), Nagpur, hosted a six-day AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academic Programme on “Next Generation Electronics for Renewable and Sustainable Energy” from 21 to 26 September 2026, organised by the Department of Electronics Engineering.

The programme explored emerging electronics for renewable energy, clean energy transition, and sustainable systems through expert-led sessions, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.

The programme was graced by Dr. C. G. Dethe, Director, UGC Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), as Chief Guest, with Dr. P. P. Palsodkar, Head, Department of Electronics Engineering, YCCE, in attendance.

Coordinated by Dr. Rajesh D. Thakare, with Prof. Poonam R. Chaudhari as Co-Coordinator, the programme reflected YCCE’s commitment to advancing technical learning for a sustainable energy future.

Three hackathons. Three victories. Team Phantom X has done it again! 🏆

Securing their third consecutive hackathon victory, the team emerged as the 1st prize winner at the BuildX Hackathon, organised by Suryoday College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur.

The achievement comes with a ₹5,000 cash prize and a paid internship opportunity for all team members, adding another milestone to their journey of innovation and problem-solving. 💻🚀

From 180+ student innovators to a ₹50,000 win and an opportunity to step inside a global motorsport ecosystem. 🏎️🏆

Team Synapse from YCCE has emerged victorious at TrackShift 2026, held at Plaksha University in collaboration with TGR Haas F1 Team, Mphasis CSR Foundation, and GWiST.

Representing the Department of Computer Technology and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Pratik Rai, 7th Semester, CSE (IoT), and Dish*ta Ghuge, 7th Semester, CSE, secured the winning prize among 50 finalist teams selected from 80 shortlisted teams and over 180 student innovators. 🚀

Their achievement also opens doors to a fully sponsored visit to the TGR Haas F1 facility in Banbury, UK, an Mphasis internship, a PPO pathway, and exposure to the Haas F1 programme for 2027.

Congratulations to Team Synapse and the faculty leadership for making YCCE proud! 👏
