MIS17 This site is for the primarily for batch of students (2015-16) studying at IMT Nagpur for their MIS course in Term III. But, any body can join and learn.

In today’s globalized world, organizations operate internationally, which increases the complexity and importance of management decision making. Therefore, for effective management of such businesses, there is a need of technology driven management systems and analytical approach for decision making. Information systems are not only playing an important role as enabler but also playing a strategic role. This course is designed to help students learn how to use information systems to revitalize business processes, improve managerial decision making and gain competitive edge in business. This course will introduce students to some of the main information systems issues faced by global organizations in current business environment: Decision Making, Business Intelligence, Building new systems, security challenges etc.
