Montfort School, Nagpur successfully conducted its Student Council Elections on 23rd April, fostering the spirit of democracy and leadership among students.

Students from Classes IX and X actively participated in the electoral process, enthusiastically casting their votes to elect their leaders for the posts of Head Boy, Head Girl, Assistant Head Boy, and Assistant Head Girl. The election was carried out using an Electronic Voting Machine (EVM), giving students a real-life experience of a transparent and efficient voting system.

The entire process was conducted smoothly, encouraging responsibility, fairness, and active student engagement. The event truly reflected the values of leadership, discipline, and democratic participation at Montfort School. 🗳️✨

Montfort School, Nagpur, successfully organized a Capacity Building Program for teachers on the enriching topic “Happy Classroom” on April 18, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the school auditorium. The seminar aimed at empowering educators with effective strategies to create a positive, engaging, and emotionally supportive learning environment.

The program was graced by two distinguished resource persons, Smt. Leena Varghese, Principal of Bhavans Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Civil Lines, Nagpur, and Mr. Abhaykumar Sontakke, Principal of Mount Litera Zee School, Nagpur. Their vast experience and expertise in the field of education added great value to the session.
Smt. Leena Varghese Ma'am highlighted the importance of emotional well-being in the classroom. She emphasized how a teacher’s attitude, empathy, and communication play a vital role in shaping a child’s learning experience. She shared practical techniques to foster positivity, inclusivity, and mutual respect among students.
Mr. Abhaykumar Sontakke Sir focused on innovative teaching methodologies and classroom management strategies that contribute to a joyful learning atmosphere. He encouraged teachers to adopt student-centered approaches, integrate activity-based learning, and build strong teacher-student relationships.

The Parent-Teacher Meeting held after the Final Holistic Assessment – II at Montfort School Balvatika, Nagpur, from 6th to 9th April, 2026, was a beautiful celebration of partnership and progress. Parents eagerly viewed their ward’s examination papers and assessment folders, their faces lighting up with pride as they saw the neat work, concept clarity, and creative expressions nurtured through the year. Teachers shared detailed, child-wise feedback, patiently answering every query about performance, learning habits, and areas to encourage at home. To ensure learning continues joyfully, parents were advised to keep children connected with academics through light, play-based holiday work focused on reading, speaking, and life skills. They were also briefed about the upcoming Bridge Course designed to revise key concepts and help children transition confidently into the next grade. The meeting ended with gratitude, trust, and a shared promise to keep working together for every child’s holistic growth.
