The International Day of Yoga has been celebrated across the world annually on June 21 since 2015, following its inception in the United Nations General Assembly in 2014. Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice which originated in ancient India.

Bishop Cotton School CBSE organised English Recitation Competition for Pre-Primary Section.
It was fun, emotional, encouraging, cute to see all the little angels.

Recitation is an art and a lot of fun. It helps students to build poise and confidence which are always valuable.
To therefore, instil a love for this and to develop recitation skills amongst our little ones, Bishop Cotton School CBSE has organised Hindi Recitation and Hindi Debate Competition from STD I till STD X.
It was fun listening to the poems of our littles ones and Debate of our Higher class students.

Sister are always our best friend, looking out for us, making sure the path we travelled on was smooth. The expression "Raksha Bandhan," Sanskrit, literally, "the bond of protection, obligation, or care," is now principally applied to this ritual.
Bishop Cotton School celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 5th of August. Students of Pre-Primary and STD 1st & 2nd tied Rakhi to the Bhaiyas (भैया), Didis (दीदी), Aais (आई), Guards & their Teachers who take care of them and protects them.

Bishop Cotton School CBSE commemorated Kargil Vijay Diwas today to observe India's victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War for ousting Pakistani Forces from their occupied positions on the mountain tops of Northern Kargil District in Ladakh in 1999. Incharge Teacher explained about the same, Students delivered speeches.

Every year there is a specific theme for World Population Day and the theme of World Population Day 2022 is “A world of 8 billion: Towards a resilient future for all - Harnessing opportunities and ensuring rights and choices for all.”
It took hundreds of thousands of years for the world population to grow to 1 billion, then in just another 200 years or so, it grew sevenfold.
A growing global population creates growing problems, which is why Population Day is celebrated annually. It is important to become aware of the effects of overpopulation on the environment and development.
Bishop Cotton School CBSE observed World population day on July 11. Students made charts, Incharge Teacher delivered the importance of the same.

The Fun Quotient was unlimited with the gleaming smiles of the little angles as they nestled into their comfort zone in school.
Welcome back to school Activity was conducted on 8/07/2022 with the little angels of the Pri-primary wings.
The teachers presented a skit.

The purpose of conducting this skit was not only to blend learning with fun but also to teach the students many concepts without lecturing or reading.

World Environment Day was first celebrated in the year 1974. This day has created a platform to raise an awareness that the world is facing the problem such as air pollution, plastic pollution, global warming and sea level increasing day by day.
Bishop Cotton School CBSE observed World Environment Day on 5th of June. Importance of the day was said by the Incharge. Students performed Dance and delivered speech.
