The purpose of the architectural design is that students learn to think and act like
designers.
Architectural design is a discipline that focuses on covering and meeting the
needs and demands, to create living spaces, using certain tools and
especially, creativity. Therefore, the aim is to combine the technical and the
aesthetic.
Designing is a process of experimenting, of trial and reflection, of exploring and
decision making. Designers play around and find their way through the process
of experimenting. It blends ideas, thoughts, understands the creative process,
design principles & architectural expressions to arrive at logical solutions.
Architectural design integrates these different processes weaving a story of
spatial experiences. The process can be achieved through sketches or outlines
of a project to conceptualize a premature design and in creating a coherent,
balanced and functional design.
The process is made up of many phases with an amalgamation of climate,
context, function, principles, sustainability and aesthetics to establish an
expression for timelessness.
Lets understand the journey of a professional who will help us understand each
phase of the design process and the milestones and the deliverables,
which will unravel an exciting architectural adventure!!
